Bananaman, no overnight millionaires here. Each to the their own, it just might pay to keep a close eye on the Bitcoin price though. If it suddenly surges the market makers may decide they want 8 or 9p and limit buying down to 10,000 shares (650 quids worth). This is what happened when it broke away from the 3s to the 5s, it was very frustrating. I'm still confident it will have a crack at $14K if not today either over the weekend or on Monday with the Asian markets. This is just my opinion though

Bitcoin Argo Blockchain, London doesn't get it..........just YET! We have all seen this happen so so many times before, a stock is out there and no one gets it until it rises 100 or 200%. Then people wake up to it and the herd turns up and takes it even further, very similar to all the covid stocks that have risen this year. No one had even heard of them until they had risen sometimes 300 to 500%, think of NCYT etc. We will get our re-rate to true value, just a matter of time until whatever the jiggery pokery is going on behind the scenes with ARB will come to an end.

For now 166 X $13,6K per month = $2,257600

$2,257600 X 12 months = $27,091,200 = GBP £20,976,580.70 and our current market cap is........,.....not for much longer!

But what happens when Bitcoin gets to $20K and beyond? ;)

Bananaman2, I hardly understand crypto too. But let me simplify it, Argo is a miner (think a bit like a gold miner). For every coin Argo mines it receives the Bitcoin price when it sells, current price around $13,5K per coin. Currently mining up to 166 coins per month, so at todays price that is 166 X $13,5K = USD $2,241,000 per month with a margin rate of 45%.

What happens when the Bitcoin price reaches $20K and beyond? ;)

I would go through and read all the RNSs ASAP, if you are looking at building a chunky position here I wouldn't wait around. This particular market won't wait around for you. Beyond this current resistance level is $20K

Look at the Bitcoin price and how much it has risen, MODE put 10% of treasury in Bitcoin. Next resistance beyond $14K is $20K. Vela has plenty more upside than just this new investment in Covid19

Bananaman2, this has to be one of the best plays I have seen in the last ten years. I personally believe this will be one of the biggest risers for 2020/2021, this is takeover target in the making. Bitcoin today is not what it was 5 years ago and having previously written it up as a fraud JPMorgan now admits that Bitcoin is in fact one of the best hedges against inflation.

Iran’s Revised Crypto Law
The Iranian government has amended its cryptocurrency regulation to enable the country’s central bank to fund imports with bitcoin legally mined in the country, the government-controlled IRNA news agency reported on Saturday. Iranian publication Financial Tribune conveyed:

The measure proposed by the Central Bank of Iran [CBI] and the Ministry of Energy requires licensed cryptominers to sell the coins they mine directly to the CBI.
