Oulton oil discovery (3/11-1 and 1ST) estimated to contain approximately 17 million barrels of recoverable oil, an up-thrown fault bounded trap, with predominant dip to the south east. The discovery was drilled by Amoco and flowed light oil (41� API) on test and flowed in excess of 1000 barrels of oil per day. Nearby oilfields include; Cheviot (Emerald Sandstone), Ninian, Alwyn and Dunbar (Brent Sandstone)
