RE: VOLUME!18 Mar 2020 16:12
Guys, girls and stt1,
It's a blood bath all around. Loads of the small caps getting sold off and sellers hitting any rise, it appears that some IIs and fund managers are selling off the small caps they hold to meet margin calls, hold cash and/or invest in the large caps as they have become available at bargain basement prices. Many stressed sellers out there at the moment, just look at SNG
I have an RSP feed and the Market Makers have started providing false bids. For example the bid ticks up or down but they are reluctant to give a quote to sell not even for the normal market size however they are more than willing to let people buy but when it comes time to sell it is fill or kill only. Meanwhile there are loads of stressed sellers about selling into any piece of news or rise, no shares appear to be immune. I do believe th Covid19 and Gold stocks will turn at some point but it might be Time to go cash only and batten down the hatches rather than risk trading in a false/bear market.
When market makers are advertising a Bid price but will only go NT only to sell or they will only fill an order of the normal market size below the bid price whilst others are buying it is clearly time to go cash when you can, this is a sign that the MMs/Brokerage no longer want to carry the risk (Unless they are trying to spook people out lol). I'm seeing it everywhere at the moment. The other one to be weary of with small caps is very large trades, often you find these deleted later on. Also the market makers can short sell up to 10% (individually) of each stock without declaring it.
Look at SNG, great RNS and now it's in the Red. The last few weeks reminds me of 2011 all over again, I know two posters on these BBs that did well post 2008. Both started with £10K with one banking 1800% on that in 2 years whilst the other increased his postition to £30K and Banked £500K in two years. The markets will turn at some point but fek trying pick the bottom, BYOT will do well during this outbreak. I have personally phoned a supplier in South East Asia to see how things are going and demand is high with stock being sold out and yes they are still receiving shipments to continue selling the product.
