I very much doubt Bell will release a "we know of no reason for the rise in the share price", it's just not going to happen. Its all about the US contract, if that goes ahead after the trials are completed then the SP won't be £4 and dividends in 23/24 will be way above 20p. MSI has always been under valued and most of the value is the defence arm of the business. There is a lot going on but the only game changer is the US contract - this is all IMO only though.
It's all looking good sparky333 and thanks for your posts (amongst others) on this board to keep me interested. Very glad I bought 3,600 of these at £1.95 a couple of weeks ago - nothing up to your holding though.
It would also be nice to learn a bit more about the new revenue stream that went live 13 weeks ago, detailed below:-
The Company's wholly-owned subsidiary in Malaysia, MobilityOne Sdn Bhd, which received a license from MasterCard Asia/Pacific Pte Ltd ("MasterCard") to issue MasterCard prepaid cards, has obtained approval from the Central Bank of Malaysia to introduce international scheme prepaid cards under MasterCard's brand in Malaysia. The Group expects to commence the issuance of MasterCard prepaid cards in the 3rd quarter of 2022, which is expected to complement the Group's existing e-wallet and will be part of the Group's end-to-end payment ecosystem.
As previously announced, the Group received feedback from the FCA, in late May 2022, to include additional information in the FCA Application. In view of this and after further consideration, the Group withdrew the FCA Application on 1 June 2022. It is the Directors' intention to re-submit the FCA Application by September 2022 with additional information based on the FCA's feedback.
These are totally made up figures based on H1 revenue ("And 50% market cap is one year rate current cash burn"). As stated on July and August's revenue we are running at $482,524 per month or $5.8m annually in H2, with costs of $7,240,342 (both accurate with the information we have) we are not a million miles off break even.
It seems some people have agendas rather than stating facts imo.
They just won't do that Toffeeman123, imo they have no interest in the swings of the SP and then trying to correct them with news.
Although there are no guarantees you can however build up a decent picture of where this is probably going with the bits of news you can cobble together. An Mcap of £10m is insane for a company with all the below going on imo:-
Latest revenue increased by 9.0% to £130.7 million for 1/2 year 2021, profit after tax of £1.01 million. Cash and cash equivalents at 30 June 2021 of £4.52 as a result of reduction of bank borrowings to £2.06 million at 30 June 2021 and the Group remains positive on its business outlook for the remainder of 2021, taking into consideration the performance of the Group's existing core business.
The current office owned by M1 Malaysia, at Megan Avenue II in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, has a total floor size of 2,800 square feet and is, accordingly, insufficient for catering the growing staff needs of M1 Malaysia and its subsidiaries (together the "M1 Group").
The Company's wholly-owned subsidiary in the UK, M-One Tech Limited, has today submitted an application to the Financial Conduct Authority (the "FCA"), the financial regulatory body in the UK, for authorisation as an electronic money institution to provide e-money services in the UK. This includes the use of e-wallets for payments of purchases or transferring funds to/from other parties within the e-money ecosystem, both of which are areas in which the Group already has operational experience in Malaysia. The decision from the FCA in respect of the submitted application is expected to be received in the 2nd quarter of 2022 and, if approved, the Group will be able to expand its business activities into the UK.
That's possible but they would have to give us a decent buy out price. I think they will go down the route of, once the debt has been obliterated they will pay dividends to regularly reward themselves through their large holdings.
US navy potential is massive but I believe they have a land based version with matching software too which could have many applications. They have developed a small mountable also that looks very interesting
