I got a quote from Saga , for a family member , for car insurance, they were more expensive than Directline or Aviva by at least £100 . The odd thing was at the beginning of the quote just after entering your name , address and date of birth and maybe car registration number , they would ask if you like the 3 year fixed price quote . Without knowing what the premium is I chose not to go for the 3 year fixed rate , I don't think the 3 year fixed rate will be any cheaper .
Has anyone here tried to get Saga car insurance ? A year ago there was a news paper article about Saga insurance , their customer numbers were dwindling , the reason being the people who are over 50 today are computer savvy , they know
where to go for the best prices . If the new CEO is reading this , you need to be more competitive , just look at directline , their share price have moved up . Does Saga not constrict themselves by offering to those over 50 ? I hope the cruise will start soon , that will really help the share price . Good luck everyone .
