No chance of share buyback otherwise they would be releasing RNS daily. Wouldn't be surprised if they have been approached and a insider is loading up.
The only thing this merger has currently benefited are Tony Smurfit and the management. Who have had big pay rises, whilst shareholders watch as the share price falls..

In line with the deleveraging strategy of the Group, the Company has repaid the term debt (including debentures) of £17.5m during FY25. Accordingly, gross debt reduced from £28.6m as at 31 March 2024 to £11.1m as at 31 December 2024. Net cash as at 31 December 2024 was £12.6m versus £3.6m as at 31 March 2024.
Any particular reason why these have fallen alot more than UKW, I know they own a small amount of batteries, but surely that doesn't justifie the much bigger fall than UKW over the last few years...
Unfortunately a big seller ouf there. Must be one of the funds. You would think they would be experienced than most investors and wouldn't panic sell out of a position...
