Basically this boils down to a fight for control of the plc. JB has 3 options
Bid for the company .
Get control via a vote on the basis that his shares are in supportive hands
Or walk.

Really can't see the board risking a vote with all the management distraction. Once Richmond are sub 10% the relationship agreement from the IPO prospectus falls away and with it any preventative legal injunctions.

I still expect a simple statement followed by Lovering's resignation. Then the game is up and JB will be brought into the confidence of the board. Once inside the social media will have to end and the speculation for us will become a frenzy.
Chance of rejection in my book has to be very low.

In the context of GH's comments on prior parties in the data room and their deferment of capex in North Sea it would seem that the one serious player remaining must be Viaro.

RP clearly wants to aggressively attack a drilling campaign and whilst they have sufficient cash for foreseeable corporate costs drilling will require a raise. I suspect the market makers will move this up to around 4-5p or c.4-5m m.cap and discount a raise from there.
