My recent period of positivity (over 6 months) after the GSA signed in principle in Dec last year right up to the end of H1 is waning somewhat, not helped by the news of the "next" placing either. But what do I know as there are some on here with much more knowledge who didn't have a bad word to say about it, but there was also some on here and II back in the day who rarely had a negative thing to say about our high risk exploration days either, and were just as confident then as they are now. Hmmm

I fear we will be in the grips of the day trader's soon as the volatility starts again so make way for all the old lines appearing "You wouldn't want to be out over the weekend" e.t.c e.t.c

Not to worry though as news is coming imminent/shortly😏It's just around the corner......

This time next year we will all be millionaires 💰And Gooner will be sailing away in his luxury yacht - "Bonam fortunam"

Totally agree Gooner and if past placings are anything to go by we will likely get a chance to buy in cheaper whatever.

@Smyth Personally I don't understand the excitement shown by ICB888 as it is not as if the share price didn't fall below the placing price last time around. I think his excitement is more to to do with his day trading strategy than anything other.

Just as a matter of fact we are approximately 15% below the placing price from May last year.

But fear not, both Chariot and ST tell us we are about to receive news shortly/imminently...

Will that said news be the catalyst? 🤔 Hopefully not long until we find out😣

I appreciate Jimmy's posts as much as anyone else on here and have said so on multiple occasions.

Because Chariot told us in the RNS about the placing. He’s changed “imminently” (from the RNS) to “Shortly” (his definition of imminently).

Unless it was a paid for/sponsored article by Chariot and one not directly from the author as an independent commentator then surely it should have read "Chariot have announced" 🤔 "I" implies the announcement has come from him.

Interesting to see all the differing opinions on our most recent placing, a placing I fully expected, and whilst disappointed, genuinely really surprised. It is interesting to note that most (not all) of the more positive comments are coming from posters who I suspect are traders rather as long term holders (although I am surprised at one or two posters openly showing disapproval who I didn't expect to) but hey-ho we are all here to try and make a bit of money at the end of the day.

I personally don't think I will now see a return on my investment and will not be taking "advantage" of the placing so it is just a case of sitting it out and see where we go.

And the next "RNS" was yet again most definitely not the catalyst but some on here will have you believe that it is just around the corner, yep it is always just round the corner.

I am starting to wonder if our main man AP is not actually Phil Connors, 🌧️ but even he came good in the end so there is still hope....

Okay cheers Jimmy, given the forward price of gas and our potential proximity to news KB thinks it's a little strange why we are languishing at these levels, however, If, as you suspect, we will indeed receive news before the Agm in September then the timeframe for it to land is relatively short in the grand scheme of things.
