I often scratch my head at the ineptness of our politicians and My Ryan is no different! He was in government as Minister of Environment from 2007-2011. The green party were wiped out then along with the FF party as austerity kicked in. They regained popularity back up to maybe 6-7% of popular vote in last gen election. Their popularity will tank now though with the energy / cost of living crisis in Ireland at the moment.
Mr Varadkar seems a more pragmatic type who seems to understand the importance of energy security and how LNG can
help. When he becomes Taoiseach in a few months, we could have a more joined up approach hopefully!
The IT article with comments from PG this morning is a good step forward. Good exposure for for PRD.
Think we all hope he's right and that 10p is indeed beckoning.
Curious that you feel there is a ramping team on here? This has to be one of the quieter boards on LSE.
Hope you don't feel my posts are part of an arranged ramp. Maybe looks that way as I'm a new poster. I'll admit I'm a new investor and found this stock from trawling through Twitter. Liked what I saw, did my research and saw what I think is a company with great growth potential at current price range.
I based my investment on sponsorship revenue primarily and watching the exponential improvement in team performance I felt that this revenue stream will grow strongly in the medium term. The growing brand, big increase in followers, streams etc. all played into this thesis.
Streaming rights and associated advertising in this space have huge potential and wasn't something I considered initially. With the rate of increase of streams, followers etc., I agree that this could be biggest future revenue stream.
The team and the company are delivering on all fronts and I feel valuation will follow suit and increase substantially from these levels.
Hadn't even considered TV broadcasting, it's inevitable and profitable for sure too. The new player announced yesterday has a huge following on Twitter, over 1.2M followers which is insane. With a roster of players at that level of notoriety, the sponsorship and the potential broadcasting deals should be immense. The Guild social media seems pretty well ran too I have noticed. For reference, England Rugby captain has 220k followers! Not a fair comparison I know but you get my drift.
Very happy with this price and see this as a long term hold. Will be keeping a close eye on how the business executes and on any new sponsorship announcements. Will be looking to add off the back of any positive news.
Any other good reference for news/opinion on Guild?
Hi all. Just bought in to Guild today at 5.7p.
Had been looking at it for a while and what convinced me to go for it was a combination of sponsorship revenue accumulating coupled with exponential increase in social media following. I think increases in both will go hand in hand
- increasing Social Media drives increasing sponsorship revenue in a quickly growing market. Also impressed with the development of the academy and seemingly strong eSport gaming performance. In general it looks like Guild are making good on their IPO promises.
Wondering is there any significant other earning streams apart from sponsorship and merchandise? And then wondering how to value the company going forward? If the board keeps making good on promises and we see continued growth in terms of SM influence and sponsorship revenue, I think the company value is far far greater than today's SP would indicate.
New member here. Have just bought into KR1 under the K4H ticker. I'm bullish and think we're in a temporary dip here.
My question is how does KR1 correlate to K4H and KROEF on the Stuttgart and US exchanges? I'm not in the UK so had to buy K4H. Is it just a currency variance that causes the difference in prices and the valuation is interlinked? If that is the case, if KROEF shoots up when KR1 & K4H is closed for trading - does KR1 open the following day at the inflated value? Thanks all, enjoying the discussion!
