Is the price increase a small rerating after the report still only have a market cap of £25m, no idea what a good feasibility study would do to the market cap I know will still be in the ground but like oil they should have a good reserves ready to extract
Good question I wonder what Sir Mick Davis answer to that would be ?
This is getting silly now ?
Thanks for the link headder just reminds us why we are all here when things are very quite thanks again.
My Daughter has asked me about investing a small lump for my granddaughter for a 5 year period, I know I could look at funds for her but as a shareholder in Ferro I did wonder if it would be a high risk investment for her and if anyone had any ideas where they think the share price will be in 5 years start of 2028, million dollar question I know.
You only have to read the details in the RNS will selling the right products at the right time Sir Mick is a very smart guy no question.
It is classic ramping but he does have a point there will come a day hopefully when some news will send this off with the 16p mark never to be seen again as happened when in the single pence, also do not forget the insiders who bought the Directors shares when he had to sell for 30p they saw 30p as a fair price so time/patience is what is needed here as us long term holders know.
I would like to make an appeal for anyone thinking of buying shares in this doomed company with their money never to be seen again could I ask you consider putting it to good use and instead use it to make a donation to the British Heart Foundation, donations can be made via the web site and the money will be put to good use and save it disappearing into the black hole of the City of London, Thanks and please consider
Sold out March 2001 at £1.05 see today £2.80 never seem to get it right.
As soon as there is buying interest Just no stock to sell ok yes will get a few small sellers selling for a quick profit but no large holders selling at these prices need to be way way higher.
There will be shortage for buying, as my previous post where are they going to find the shares to sell so many long term holders who are and where are the sellers going to come from ?
Sure if not for Ukraine war this would still be mid 20s I clearly remember being 27p at the start and temped to sell at that point but as I have said on here before in for the long term and have bought more while price beaten down by world events.
Us long term holders all know when the demand picks up the market will struggle to find shares to sell, there are so many long term holders sitting on their shares just waiting for the potential to be unlocked as we know it will.
Been a bit of buying and selling in last few days hence recent price movement, today nothing hence nothing to move or affect the price.
I don't think it is what the company has done I think it is what the World has done that has changed peoples ideas on that part of the world, I will just be sitting tight and hoping for better days when ever that may be.
I feel sure if it was not for the war we would still be in the 20s minimum, its the location affecting the price so badly look at all the shares sold internally at 30p not long ago nothing has changed about the company its the world that has changed.
Thank you and on that point I have no disagreement.
Sorry I disagree with the placing idea I feel sure Sir Mick would not want to dilute the company and his holding, I think it is world events with Kazakhstan having such a long land border with Russia and being caught in the middle not being 100% behind Russia or 100% western it is creating uncertainty in the area which the markets do not like.
All we can do is like I am sure Sir Mick is doing keep our heads down and hope that for the whole world that this situation sorts it self out soon which is not looking likely at the moment.
Day after Day down I am a strong believer in Sir Mick and what he can achieve, with the world events going on out of his control each day I am finding it harder and harder to keep the faith.
After reading the press re the Presidents meeting with Putin I think I can now maybe see the reason for the 10% drop.
As having a large holding by my scale of things it has started to make me a bit nervous should I/we shareholders be nervous ?
