Greetings Bigtimebilly. you said earlier "BT shares are definitely worth holding because the dividends payments they pay, better than any Bank"

At the moment the divi is paying 8.16 pence (per annum) per share. And as the current SP is at 206 pence (historically quite high), this means the divi yield is 3.96%. If you check the markets there are many savings accounts , cash ISA, bond accounts paying better.

So its down to the wonderful Allison to continue her progressive divi policy, and up the divi payout to stay competitive compared to other financial products.
