So what is being alleged , if that is the correct phrase , is the financing to get the mine open was a sham … that Bill Trew set Emma as a fall guy / lady .. then Paracale would then presumably bid for an insolvent business knowing full well there was plenty of gold .. just needed the right equipment and management ? Wow .. typical AIM scam then ? Be interesting to see if this comes out later .. for the moment we can hope this will be sorted .
They have given themselves a chance but it will be 100% now about production / gold sales. At least they have the gold price in their favour. No more messing about now please Emma - this could be another simple con to get some of their wages owed paid - 1/2 in shares by the looks of it but half in cash for destroying the company over the last couple of years. We need to see serious production .. that is it .. all that matters . They do that then they have rescheduled the finances sufficiently to establish a solid base by the looks of it. Lot of convertible warrants well above the 1p so we will see.
well it is better than a kick in the *******s as the old saying goes. huge dilution but the only practical way of saving the company . 1,900 ounces is not exciting but something ( where is the 5,000 contained in the leach pads 🤷♂️). fact is that we have a major investor overseeing things and will have assessed the project and they have decide to back it / give it a go . that provides optimism that production can get to a commercially viable level … otherwise they would have been writing off their significant investment anyway. their terms and those of the directors , especially the warrants could be very lucrative and which ever way you look at it the incompetence has cost privets investors dearly. emma must be cheap as she should be down the road with mr trew imho !
very much still fingers crossed . audited accounts later today ?? got to get them filed in order to re-list and get this away.
re-listing will be circa 1p with a return to 3p if they get the production up within the next 6 months - my target
How can this have been going on for months and months am no RNS until the contractor actually tools down . They are owed millions - why would anyone continue working ? The latest RNS’s on production guidance flagged no huge issues yet there are apparently enough issues not to pay Corica . Lies by the looks of it and the classic “don’t look at me” BS
I had this reply .. it came from “St. Brides” . I think everyone involved in this company gets weeks confused with months … this reply was 3/1/2024 :
Thank you for your email and I appreciate the points that you have raised. I will ensure these are viewed by the board so that they are aware of your concerns.
To address the points raised in your email, firstly, and for the avoidance of doubt, Emma Priestley remains the CEO of the Company and continues to be completely focused on the operational success of Akrokeri-Homase. Following the signing of the Standstill Agreement, Emma will now be returning to site to progress operations and to transition to the new operational management team, as referred to in the RNS.
Further updates on the operational performance of the Company will be made in due course, in addition to the CEO / Chair narratives in the final and interim results, which are expected in the coming weeks.
More fundamentally, now that this Standstill Agreement has been issued and with the audit process moving towards conclusion, the Company, with the benefit of a new operational management team, are in a much better position to provide regular operational updates. The Board is aware of the need for these progress reports, which provide a more comprehensive view of operations over and above the regulatory updates, and it is eager to implement these as appropriate throughout 2024.
Best regards,
Why would anyone expect Emma to keep to a time deadline ? The silence is deafening . If they have the plant , if they are on site , if there was 5,000 ounces trapped in the leach pads .. then where is the gold ?
I see people making comments that Bill Trew is a hardened and successful miner .. that Emma has had 1 hand tied behind her back .. please give me any example of either of those guys in charge of a successful and profitable business.. I see s lot of companies they are involved in that have insolvent balance sheets. At least Trew is gone but do we really believe Emma is up to the job? What is she doing? Where is the gold she said was sitting in the leach pads - all $10m+ dollars worth . Why are the accounts still not signed off even after changing accountants. Why does she think it is not appropriate to not report on any production that is ongoing … she has spent money on plant .. where is the production / cash ? Why were we not insured for the so called theft of gold ? Why were they guiding tens of thousands of ounces of gold production to be in the hundreds ? People still have faith ? It’s all we can have to be honest and we hang on by the fingertips but anyone believing in Bill Trew and Emma are frankly deluded imho. If List can turn it around then fine .. first thing she needs to do is get that $10m worth of gold out of the leach pads .. or was that a pure lie ?
Does anyone remember the RNS which states 5k ounces of gold was stuck in the leach pads ? Where is this gold is what we should be asking . Enough in that alone to pay off the gold loan . If Bill is the problem then what was the problem ? Emma is the operational director .. this is all her doing in my opinion and she is still there .. apparently “on site” according to an email reply I got. The main issue is raising some finance by the end of this month in order to prove going concern and pay off some debt. Out only hope is that the new removal of Bill will mean we get an invested party taking a proper look at whether or not this is a viable mine. The lack or production of gold has been nothing but 100% incompetence .
I sometimes think we have coco the clown running this outfit . No license yet , failing on production , burning cash in Q4 ..
Cash balances at the end of December 2023 were $11.6 million which includes $0.6 million of funds held for the Vale Exploration Alliance. This compares with a cash balance of $15.3 million as at 30 September 2023
I agree with the sentiment IF THEY GET IT RIGHT blah blah .. but can they be trusted to ever get it right ? It looks more like a nice comfortable retirement package imho for the deadly duo . This might never realise its potential until we get changes at the top … all imho.
JLP is moving hugely into copper . The market is probably going to wait for confirmation of production , quality and sales revenue / profit margin . This could currently represent a huge disconnect with the SP as this has , as you quite rightly point out , been tracking PGM basket prices which are on the floor and for which the importance to JLP will diminish as they move into a diversified portfolio . Hopefully there will be a huge re-rate when confirmation of copper production comes through . Chrome is also significant but not so much as the copper imho. If PGM prices also pick up then JLP will be off to the races imho .
By the bubble …
Vox Markets podcast – Jo Battershill, Corporate Executive of Salt Lake Potash #SO4 and Justin Waite discuss why the start of the construction on Australia’s First Commercial Scale Sulphate of Potash Evaporation Ponds is significant
So what is a corporate executive ??
Thank for confirming. Makes this a no go for me .don’t trust anyone that was involved in SO4 where it was before or during the delisting . So I have stated fact .. why would that be of concern to the board …. Email them .. or grow up and stop being so sensitive . It’s seems no alternative view is allowed to be expressed here . No mine , no revenue … placing after placing .. not for me . It might get ramped up for another placing … rinse repeat and it might actually realise some value in it’s interests but huge risk of also running out of cash and if investors get fed up of placings then what will happen ? Be careful imho .
