The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
Describing operations at the Cononish Gold and Silver Project as "nice, stable and predictable," the chief executive of Scotgold Resources Ltd (LON:SGZ) is proud of his team's consistent achievement at the Scottish asset.
Phil Day is most proud of the fact the company is delivering on what it said it would deliver. He says the company is working tirelessly and the fruits of that labour is now coming into fruition with 50 tonnes of concentrate produced in August.
"The grade is much better than we ever thought, we're making money and everyone's happy." In terms of revenues, Day says the RNS provides all the relevant intelligence so shareholders can easily calculate the numbers.

Yes some decent volume for this share running though today and the vast majority buys. No leaky-leaky in anticipation of tomorrow I hope! Any ideas whether the 13k is a buy or sell?
Rockhead, Pictland's 2nd ramping post from yesterday afternoon has been removed making my comment appear completely out of context. I wasn't referring to you.
Pictland, rampers **** people off when they go on about "I feel it in my watter" with no substantial evidence and even more so when they bleat on about some unrelated company on an unrelated message board. That was my point. Nothing to do with your heehaw.
BlakeneyP, I'm seeing 14 trades yet only one buy when I click on the tab. 10770 gross buys.
Bigbadbaz, it must be lovely up there right now and the forecast is good for a few days yet. Do they have a midge issue and is there a credible repellent for them yet - apart from Avon something or other?
Rockhead, I was addressing Pictland. However, as you ask, I am curious as to what Scotgold's contingency plan is for the next lockdown. Aren't you?
What are you on about ramping Erris? Don't they have their own message board you could ask your question of? This is for Scotgold. Nothing to do with Erris.
I doubt it Bellers but would be glad to be wrong. It isn't a bank holiday in Scotland anyway and save for the Christmas break, Scotgold work through holidays don't they? Anyway, Tuesday 31st isn't a holiday anywhere! Roll on Wed 1st Sept or the next day. My 70p's taking it's own sweet time getting here.
That post deserves a double thumbs up Samson. Spot on with all of it mate.
Here's hoping Bellers. Autumn's only around the corner and the grass will no longer be needing cut soon.
We're all busy cutting grass BlakeeyP.
Hello Morar. No, I'll leave it at that but it really isn't difficult to work out. And again no, he has not upset me in the least.
Thank you Samson. It surprises me that he should do that as you are one of the more erudite posters in here. Unless I'm grandly mistaken, sharing factual and reliable Scotgold information is the whole point of this message board? Yes, there have been a fair few contradictions with this outfit but hopefully the shenanigans are all over now that Phil is running the show.
Only an estimated 26 days till the next RNS. Bring it on, I say. Bring it on!
Thanks Baz but he is not a fellow with whom I would choose to associate, as knowledgeable as he may be on the Company. I'll contact them direct. Up another ha'penny today but unlikely to see 70p this week - maybe next week.
What's going on there then???
Donaldson the Twitter guy, Baz? Where's he disappeared to then? Still busy liking plenty of stuff on his feed but not tweeted or retweeted anything for a couple of weeks. Whatever, sure there'll be no visitors permitted till this Covid thing has blown over. Might take a wander up on my next trip to Skye, as well as visiting that Real Food Cafe. Looks proper tasty tucker in there. Bit expensive but sure they need to cover their costs.
Regarding the ore thickness, the latest RNS isn't up on the Company website yet - unless it's been removed for correction? https://www.scotgoldresources.com/investors/aim-news-releases/
Can visits be arranged Bigbadbaz? What's the procedure?
Rather unprofessional and disappointing that such a typo was not spotted before the RNS was released if that is the case. Does Scotgold not employ a chief secretary who would be responsible for spotting such errors? "Ore thickness" certainly threw me - and a few others by the looks. Not that inspiring for a potential shareholder to read such a phrase if it is indeed an error. Has it been corrected or has the Company said anything about it to confirm it is correct?
I thought that might have been a typo for vein thickness when I read it.
Nice one. 70p this week?
Great link Steelwatch. Thank you.
Not at all Rockhead. My best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.
She was on holiday Riskmanager. Visited Oban too. Hopefully of no consequence that yesterday the Real Food Cafe announced a "number" of their staff are currently self-isolating https://twitter.com/therealfoodcafe/status/1414599031985254401
