About 3 or 4 years back some poster on PREM made a mint on PREM sold up and bought a farm in Devon or Cornwall....

I sold new tools for 30 years m8.....................

1980's could by a good farm and land in Devon or Cornwall for £150 K did look at some, same type of farms now over £500 K to £850 K

Not as good as it used to be, margins on some stock now cut to the bone..................
Used to get £50 for vintage snap on ratchet spanner's the last one out I only got £20 and it was the best one that I have ever had.
Had a mate that used to sell them for me on Ebay.........
When I sold the last one on Ebay myself was shocked, same low prices for vintage Elora..........
Used to get good money for vintage AF spanners, now hardly worth the time of trying to sell them.........

Keep you're mince pies open when you move to Cornwall if you see any unused land research how you can lay claim to it, takes about 12 years from start to finish however you can use it in the meantime............LOL

Many moons ago used to do 6 weeks at a time in Cornwall. Selling on the shows cheap rents and took real good money.
The locals used to call us as Emits....
As a kid used to holiday there plus in the summer holidays as a kid used to leave the farm with my Dad trucking for extra money, such happy times............
