I used to spend £40 per week on diesel just to go to work, the company I worked for got a bag on as I told them that I wished to stay with the agency due to it being better pay. The management told me that I was upsetting the staff by being on better pay anyway after refusing to sign on with them 7 times in 18 months, the company sent my agency an email on a Friday afternoon saying that no work would be available for me after this weekend............
Within 2 weeks it was short of drivers again, it's put the wages up and it still needs more drivers LOL.........
Maybe telling the management that it may of been them that upset the staff as I never told anyone what rate I was on. Hayho

For mine operators, autonomous trucks mean round-the-clock use of equipment, and therefore greater productivity. About 6 years back an Autonomous truck followed a truck with a driver, the Autonomous truck had a driver only for safety.
