Mortality rate much higher in deprived areas of England. This is what I was suspecting, like with flu. If you in poor health or have unhealthy life style (which is more common in deprived areas) you have much more chances of dying (IMO from any disease).
Newham's mortality rate was 1454.3 deaths per 100,000 population. Compared to 25.3 per 100,000 in the least deprived places.
