It is misleading what you saying. You implying something was rejected. And was not. Watch it again. They did not want to object, they wanted to change the term to 1.5year. They were told that from precedural reason they have to accept it as it is (3years) or object it and propose 1.5year. Simples.

Ja51, please go somewhere else, as clearly you have agenda here. They objected to 3year period and proposed 1.5year (for appraisal of the well). Theirs power is only opinion. And you can read that as proposal of 1.5year period instead of 3 years. Decision will be made by SCC later this month. It is all on track. Thank you.

Just seen webcast. Regardless of what they know about oil production (clearly not much), as a advice body to SCC, they just ask simple questions (mostly due to lack of knowledge) and agreed for at least 1.5 year should be allowed for regulatory required appraisal faze. All good.
