Has just started its 3rd attempt at breaking through the 6000 barrier so fingers crossed by end this week beginning of next we may be there.

I just been looking at the charts if you go back 18 month to 3 years ago RDSB were more aggressive in share price movement however that’s now changed in last 18 months BP has been more aggressive in share price movement and their annual yield is currently slightly higher than RDSB.

China’s ?Global Times newspaper – a nationalist tabloid affiliated with Communist Party mouthpiece ?People’s Daily – said on Sunday that Beijing was insisting that US tariffs must be rolled back as part of any phase one trade deal with Washington.

In a Tweet which did not link to any related article, the newspaper cited unnamed sources and said a US pledge to scrap a new round of tariffs due to take effect on December 15 could not replace the rollback of tariffs.

Based on the latest above it don’t look like this deal is coming off till at least the new year at the earliest.

George im still on the sideline with the mrs funds from BATS as the yanks are still hitting oil with a sledgehammer no telling how far this may go at the end of yank market brents down near 4% so im staying put for a few days see where it ends but the divi for BP and RDSB at this level very attractive for me as an income share.

I'm really tempted to chuck my mrs spare money on BP but what puts me off is that oil has had a good run for last 2 months coming from a bottom between $56 and $57 a barrel to current level of $63 with no real influence on BP and RDSB share price.

Im thinking if oil drops from here it may take BP and RDSB lower especially with the US inventory data recording builds in stocks over the last 5 weeks.
By the way both these shares are still in a long term downtrend as well, so im just going to bide my time for now.

Scoop yes i agree, i just try to watch the charts as they definitely form a trading pattern over time until some news upsets the apple cart then no tellings.
I sold my Mrs pot in BATS yesterday £502 down on £16,500 just over 3% down but i recon i can get that back, in looking at the chart its had problems passing this level before so just hoping for a pullback Its still in cash at mo.
HaHa i keep looking at RDSB wondering should i pop it in there for a few weeks as i dont think BATS will drop quickly.

Ian I think they maybe trying to anticipate coppers next rise as it has pulled back hard in the last 2 months on its way up a few tines then pushed on the next 3 to 4 days increasing its gain on the previous high.

I’m pretty certain the coppers in an improving position since beginning of September.

I recon coppers had its pull back and will now push on to hit the 6000 plus it’s got to get in the 5900 to 6100 range soon
