George, in my earlier post I did say ft100 at around 4400 worst case that would be a 49% fall from it high of 7900 which is very similar to the 2008 crash

George, I fully understand what you say but I meant on average yes some will probably be 70 + % down but some will hold well like the big boys and only lose say 30% max.

Thing is oils and metals were well depressed before this virus started so they will be more than 50% down if that makes sense.

Well all the indices are up again today but the way it seems to be trending is 5 days down 2 up then 5 down again so this could just be another small bounce.

In 2008 the world indices lost 50% before it turned to a good positive trend back up, from May 2018 which was the ftse100 high point to the lowest level yesterday at 4840 the ft 100 has lost 38.6% so another 10% would put it at the 4400 level and I recon this has to be the limit.
I hope it don’t go this far but I recon that’s a worse case scenario

It looks like after that nice rise late on Friday we’ve had a retrace which I think was expected however most indices are still holding on to a 4 to 6% gain as I type from the very lows of early morning trading in Asia on Friday.
Unfortunately our ft 100 has lost all its gains and is now back to 5200 exactly were it closed at 4.30 pm Friday night.

So I don’t really see a lot of change in the Uk stocks at open I recon it will be a mixed bag.
