... because they closed lower yesterday evening after the placing news, then opened up to match out SP that hadn’t changed ...
The US has already dealt with the news? All of the RNS were issued yesterday evening while the US market was still open.
600Thieves sorry I didn’t mean for you - there were a few above throwing some opening prices out there when we already have a good indication
This might help with the opening price if you’re struggling a little ...

Unfortunately on here everyone wants to have their cake and eat it. This level of dilution is nothing at this current price, what if we hadn’t had a 200% increase in SP these past few weeks, imagine how many extra shares would be needed to cover what Peter needed if we were sat at 140p again. Too many people thinking short term with this.
It’s not on the list of brokers on PB and I can only see requests for them to be added on their community pages. Like a few people on here have already said, we might get close to the placing price tomorrow so I’ll be looking to top up (again) in the morning.
31 next week and baby number 2 due around the same time. Glad I found this share (and you guys) to make for a better future for the bambino’s!
What Bitcoin wallet do people use for their iPhone?
At 8.30am on Friday, ARB was at 240p and BTC was at $45.5k
BTC is currently at $44k, 3% down from that point on Friday, and everyone is panicking thinking the a**e fell out of it
So you mean to say we’re going to go up, then we’ll go down, then back up again, then back down again, then back to exactly where we are. Exciting.
Must say I’m looking forward to shifting from 212 to HL in the new tax year
Are you buying in your ISA or invest account? I’ve bought in both, but for some reason the ISA has always seemed to process significantly quicker when I’ve done it.
@Ventura1 not really? I was asking about the risk to existing positions (i.e. here) if they were short in GME and wanted to start releasing funds from elsewhere to cover their short position, but I misread their position as are actually long over there.
... been a long week, my bad! Yeah I imagine they are pretty chuffed with all of their current positions then.
Was reading earlier about the fun over at GME, and saw an interesting fact regarding the top short sellers of the stock ...
Fidelity 9.7 million shares...$3.8 billion.
Blackrock 9.2 million shares...$3.6 billion
Vanguard 5.2 million shares...$2.1 billion
Obviously in order to cover their short positions they are going to have to source the funds to get them out of the hole they are currently in. What is the consensus on here that Institutions such as Blackrock wanting to sell some of their current positions to cover their GME losses? I know their stake here is eff all in the grand scheme of their investments or what they stand to lose over the pond, but hopefully they hang around long enough to realise some tasty gains these next few months.
Not to sound ungrateful, but I was expecting slightly more. I thought we were producing minimum 10m tests a month? UK has completed over 60m PCR tests alone.
£20b, if it’s split evenly between 100 suppliers, is £200m each! That’s a tasty chunk for Microgen (part of Novacyt group for some of you)
Spot on post.
What you’ve got to think about for 2022 is that by then we must have close to 20,000 Q16&Q32 machines out across the world. If each of those machines processed just 64 tests a week (3,328 each machine a year) you start getting some great numbers. Once you’ve invested in a machine you’re hardly going to put it to the back of the cupboard if this pandemic was to end.
What would be really useful in the upcoming trading update would be to find out how many Q machines have been sold, as this might be able to shed some insight into future revenue. They are hardly going to sit idle after COVID after such an investment. If there’s 10,000 machines out there, even if each one processed £10,000 worth of tests a year, that’s £100m a year alone.
Approved in UK but no deliveries until Spring. Does this just leave the Johnson & Johnson vaccine left as the main vaccines coming through?
