Chris Heminway, Exec-Chair at Time To ACT, explains why now is the right time for the Group to IPO. Watch the video here.
TBH I have taken out 80% of my original investment yesterday. Why? I had put in much more than I was originally intending into this share, and had a plan that when we hit 30p I would de-risk to a level where I was more comfortable. Although I am very excited about the continued upside I have forced myself to stick to my plan and de-risk to a comfortable level.
My investment here will never make me a million. If we gain another few pence I will be able to take out my original investment and have a free ride. If we then hit around 50p I will then probably cash out completely.
Why around 50p? That gives me enough to be financially secure, be able to overpay on my mortgage (boring I know) and get me closer to my 10 year plan. Yes I could wait to see if we hit £1 at which time I would be able to pretty much clear my mortgage. I'm not that big a risk taker though.
Would I love this to make me a millionaire, of course, is it likely to, no. I'll settle for not having to worry about money and having a comfortable life.
Good luck to all, millions or not I hope you get the gains you need for your plans!
Topped up a bit yesterday, sadly timed it a bit wrong and lost a little on the top up. Sitting on just over 200K shares now, invested way more than I was ever planning to. It's paying off though, if we hit 50p that'll do nicely.
Very envious of some of you LTH's. I didn't get in until 3.3p a share, was very cautious to start with so didn't invest much. Now have 153k shares at an average of 8p so a long way to go until this generates anything life changing for me! 60p would be amazing, 35p of above would give a great return.
Congrats to all of those who got in early and are now seeing life changing gains, from what I have read from some of you on this forum they are very well deserved!
I'm not even going to try to guess at the end game, for me 60p would be amazing, 90p potentially life changing, if we hit £1 that would be awesome. I am sceptical we would get to these numbers, that's my nature though and I am still learning about this industry. I honestly came across GGP by accident, it's my first time investing and I was looking for some low value shares to learn on without risking too much cash.
GGP has now become the most exciting investment I've made. I loving learning from those in this forum who very kindly post so much detail, as well as doing my own research of course. I read the forum every day, not generally posting as I am still learning about GGP and the industry in general.
Best of luck to all, whatever your strategy I hope it pays off for you.
I've seen a couple of people making comments along the lines of the news must be good as why else would Newcrest be throwing more resource at Havieron and ramping things up there.
I have invested a fair bit into GGP over the past few weeks, so am certainly not being negative here. It is great people are calling out the extra efforts on Havieron must be because there's a massive find there and prices are going to be amazing etc. Has anyone any thoughts that it may not be quite as fantastic as people think? Newcrest downgrading their 2020 production expectations, Tefler reducing production, issues in Papua New Guinea and a falling share price, could it be that they are throwing more at Havieron simply because they need a positive?
Morning all. Took the punt and managed to triple my share holding yesterday. Topped up a bit at 9.2, then managed to double my holding at 8.8. Still no where near some of you guys, holding at just over 125K shares, that's shares not money put in, I wish!!
Ideally if / when we hit 15p I can recoup my investment and then leave the house money. I don't think that will ever give me enough to be life changing, unless we breach 50p which I'm not sure we will.
Good luck all, some of you have been in this for a very long time, I hope your patience pays off.

I have to admit I am envious of many on this board, clearly you are on the verge of reaping the rewards of long term investment and patience, quite a few of you appear to have completely derisked your investments which must be an amazing feeling.
Having invested only a few weeks ago and after doing more research including thanks to the great video on The Investment Journey, fantastic insights from PaddyGall, and the vast excitement on this board I have been doing a lot of maths and am as yet undecided. Hindsight is such a lovely thing, if I'd invested more a few weeks ago I would be sitting pretty now!!
15p seems to be the point to derisk for me. Depending on movements tomorrow I could look to triple my investment with a view to recoup my base investment again if / when we hit 15p thus removing most of my risk. Bearing in mind I am not putting in anywhere near what some of you guys have gained over time, if I take the top up out at between 13p - 15p it does not make a substantial difference at this stage. Investing it in at 8p - 9p does though, assuming we hit around 15p. The point is I could triple my shareholding tomorrow, if favourable, and still keep my total holding boosted enough if I take that out again at 13p - 15p for it to make a substantial difference.
The other side of this is if I triple my investment and the share price goes south, which I appreciate all the evidence indicates the opposite, I could lose what to me is not an insignificant sum.
A hard decision for me at the moment, deciding my appetite for risk! Either way it does not generate a life changing sum for me, it certainly could make things more comfortable though and allow me to derisk and so stay in longer.
Good luck all this week, I'm very interested to see where this goes!

I thought about selling some today. I've come into this much later than some of you guys with what I am perceiving to be a much smaller investment than some. The SP rise has been enough for me to take out around 50% of my initial investment which is tempting to lower the risk, on the flip side I only invested what I was prepared to lose and I want to see how it plays out :)
Hi all,
First post, so be kind :)
I just wanted to thank all who contribute to this forum. I've only just started to look into any sort of portfolio, no-where near the realms of what some of you guys seem to be doing just dipping my toe in and only risking what I could get over losing, after crying a little!
I came across GGP and after a bit of research, and a lot of reading this forum in the background, decided to invest. Again no-where near some of you, I have circa 50K shares and came in around the 3.5p mark.
This post was again merely to thank those who post and contribute to this forum, some of the nuggets I've taken from it have been great. I won't pretend I'll be able to return the favour, as you guys are way more knowledgeable on this than I think I will become.
