The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
……exactly what triggered the start of a 40% SP drop starting at 1pm yesterday! Agree with others the RNS is merely hurridly put together meaningless piffle to say what should have been happening anyway to try to hold the drop.
While these may deliver higher temps there is no magic trick, the COP (efficiency) inevitably drops markedly relative to ‘conventional’ air source heat pumps. Beware in the depths of winter as the running costs may be painful when COP drops still further.
It would be nice if someone involved in setting the price could be made to explain. Other things at play here, it was a weird day yesterday all round with many stocks which did really well over lockdown taking a bit of a dive, thouynothinv like the extent of ITM.
Good point on the rise before the good news, then the fall on release of the good news, agree it seems to happen so often. But what if it had been bad news when released?? Just shows that some are privy to more information than others! I remember working for an AIM listed company not too long ago where the CEO/FD’s PA had a full time job fending off shareholders looking for insider info. A bit of a Rotweiller so they didn’t get far lol!
Wow things do move fast when someone, somewhere presses the fall button. All looking good early afternoon then ‘pow’ freefall! We all know the SP is overvalued based on future hope but why, at 4pm ish today, did it suddenly dive. Did someone (MM) suddenly wake up and realise, or is it the usual crooked AIM game?
When we saw this price only a month or so ago we were all delighted! Same price, but now panic starting to appear. Great company, all will be fine, a good LTH. Can’t help looking back to 2006 130 to 320 in a couple of months and a speedy retreat all the way back to 130 in a similar time. I’m sure things are very different now but it does show how quickly things can go back.
I think that would be a remarkably good an honourable gesture for them to share the pain many have endured, it will make the bitter pill served up by Sirius a little more palatable.
I suspect the chance of them doing that however is zero to nil!
Absolutely bang on!! Why get involved when there is someone waiting in the wings to rescue the things HM Govt are interested in, employment and taxes. Sod the PI’s who have lost their shirts, they will fade away into history to be barely remembered despite the deep scars.
Agree totally, but the hard bit is predicting when the slight up will keep going, particularly when its for no apparent reason like this morning. On the slide again until the next whiff of nothing kicks it up 30% again.
McMillans famous quote (or not as the case may be) seems to ring loud and clear, who could have spotted this coming at the end of last year. Particularly pi**ed off as having been hammered in the SXX debacle I managed to claw just about everything back on a few (lucky) picks which were based on more solid underlying prospects including ITM an event ‘out of the blue’ knocks the world for six and I’m heading sharply back down the plughole. ITM still a great company with great prospects, keep the faith but it makes you wonder how long to recover when the Corona thing is over.
It would be really good to sit a MM down and say ‘right, come on mate, talk me through the previous day, hour by hour (minute by minute if need be) and explain yourself as to exactly why the large falls (and rises) occurred. We can dream lol!
