RE: Shares invariably need a 15% rise before the herd will join in!3 Feb 2024 11:14
Actually, you'e wrong re. volumes. y'day was 14,629,615. Thursday was 14,499, 866.
as for 'buy' proportions, it's always impossible to get accurate numbers as mid prices are wholly dpenednent to advertised spreads rather than actual spreads.
so, on Thurs, it opened at 1.02, dropped to 1.01, the high was 1.13 and it ended at 1.1.
ylday, it opened at 1.07, had a drop to 1.01, the high was 1.15 and it closed at 1.1, again.
what 'it seems' to you is the same story for how it seems to 'seems' to someone on the bb daily, whenever they find they bought too high and regretting being too eager.
funny how it's always 'because we bought clever' when the price rises and 'manipulation' when the price drops. folk rarely accuse rises of being manipulation until they see a placing off the back of it. but, if you look at the 12month you could argue there's been an awful lot of 'manipulation.'
i'm not really interested in having spats with anyone in particular unless they decide to get aggresive in responses but... don't try and lord it over someone else when your 'facts' are only as accurate as wherever you picked them from (just like mine, i suppose) and, as for your opinion, that's irrelevant to everyone except yourself, just as everyone elses is.
final one on 'manipulation'. it's as good a tool for making money as good news but if you can't work out how to use the manipulation to your best advantage noone's fault except...
