unacceptable for a company to have twitter, facebook and linkedin (bit desparate to be looking there, but...) and just not bother using them for anything beyond reposting rns'.

What i find astonishing is how it's okay to read something into 'more staff being taken on' as if that's a positive for GST but a quote from an FCA rep is dismissed as being irrelevant.

fine... the point i'm making is holders here fight tooth and nail to be selective about what is understood about GST when there is nothing said by the company, daily, which leaves retailers having to 'represent' the company and its intentions.

you can decide for yourself what information posted is relevant or otherwise. but you can blame the company for having no press or accessability for retail (who, i restate, now hold over 50% of the shares) to get clarity on what happens daily.

personally, i find it an insult that a company whose share price has almost halved on vague placings and think it's acceptable that they release nothing to support it.

rail all you want but the fact that posts have to be contested here so that, now, stable coin approval is irrelevant pathways is in the air and progress undisclosed, makes the sp look weak.

it IS why the sp is sitting at 0.74.

True. but it could have been a worked sell. that size would have meant mms had time to sell it piecemeal but always on a dropping bid, until they were all taken.

The BoD are rubbish for pr, considering the majority of shares are now in retail hands.

it means every interim and results is just a coin toss as to whether it'll be good or... 'not good'. and then have to deal with the consequences.

kind of makes you realise that the daily postings of everyone here is merely to affect sentiment, rather than reporting facts as we never receive guidance on anything.

all the excuses about 'closed periods' and FCA 'probably don't allow mid term repoting' and all the other 'reasons' for silence are pretty muchcompatible with the 'maybe acquisition placing!

only worth in holding is in looking at the historical price and deciding whether current sp is a fair reflection of all the imponderables. and it's telling that, when it was at 1.2 that was seen as cheap and now, at 0.7 it's still seen as cheap and yet there's still not buying for the bounce!

My question was: are BoD gatekeepers for a takover bid if they are now minority shareholders?

presumably, any company would need to have taken a percentage (i seem to remember it being 30% for a forced sale?) but i think the point is more that there's no evidence at all that any company is interested in taking this private or buyout, hence all the exBoD shares going to retailers instead.

and i still point out that BoD, who had perfect opportunity to buy those shares at a major discount to their current average, showed no interest, either then, or by averaging down on even lower historical prices.

that, for me, makes little sense.

There are more shares in the hand of nominee/retailers than ii's so wouldn't BoD be obligated to hold an EGM for voting on any potnetial takeover?

also, without some further steps in the progress of stablecoin i doubt if anyone would punt a buyout unless they thought there was mileage in the medium term.

one of the problms with letting all of ex BoD's shares going to retail is the imbalance in holdings. i doubt anyone here would balk at 5p, if that was ever offered... certainly from current price.

If the commission story fills out well and revenue looks good then won't be surprised to see sp back at 1.2 and then it'll be down to the promise of growth to the end of year (but whether anyone other than paper loss holders will feel the need to stay in is moot). if the results show that Angra and GS20 are still 'building' and cash only bolstered by the placing and Semnet still not sorted...

Traders rarely wait for several months to see profit! (would prefer several minutes in the most extreme circumstances!). the questions for most high frequency traders is how do we get to 200? if this gets to 160 in the next few days then i imagine they'd be content to hand their shares back to the market, unless volume suggests more, near term.

and, if they're holding when news is released, all the better!

Think smaller and just hope that pre placing price of 1.23 gets reach first...
