Have to agree with AHS about why that news isn't rnsable? or, at least, stick it also on @LSE_GST. something well pointless about sticking it on linkedin and leaving the wider social media outlets to die on the vine.

i honestly think there's noone in the company looking after GST's social media, in spite of Bake's very successful use of it.

The trouble is, 1million sells aren't small packets. with 70% of the shares in retailers' hands, there are a lot of people who, being in profit, will happily sell, to buy back on a potential drop. what is extraordinary is how at 3.6, having risen... 200%? noone saw fit to sell and, instead, started spouting 10p, 25p 250p targets, as if they were relatively imminent.

the spikes are just as 'engineered' as falls. just most holders don't worry about spotting them on the rise...

400p it is, then... guess the only question is how long before economy or predictions turn more positive to suggest that 15% profit will be v low as a target.

The difference, massive (soon to be filtered) is that you never post anything except self-congratualtory bragging about how wealthy you are, SOOO much wealthier than all the other posters here.

personally, i think you're full of it... even when you buy you never mention your selling. and, if you don't sell on the highs, then you're a mug, in spite of you, no doubt, regaling anyone who will listen, about how you made SOOO much money on ARB or the invention of fire.

Enki, while i don't blame you for triggering the drop (in fact, it's what a discussion board is for) i DO think that falling back on comedy to cope with the disastrous drop is a bit... pointless?

if you didn't anticipate the drop on that news then i guess, like all the other holders of the 1.6billion held shares, we have to just hold on for the anticipated news, hoping that it comes sooner than later AND that it's not a dry something but employs some decent description of what that will or is doing to the top line, bottom line and the future of making money!

If its' lowering your average then that tells everyone who was buying at 4p.

i just bought at 1.5614 and don't care now where it drops to as i imagine there are a lot of folk now digging out cash for the bounce... but i am surprised noone's saying 'background buying going on' yet.

They're concerned because, in the last year we've had 2 x exBoDs selling their 00s millions stake in GST sold to retailers at well over 2.2p, another 120million just sold to retailers at over 1.9p and, with retailers holding at least 70% of the 2.2billion shares held in pi hands, that's a lot of shares just sloshing around, with a lot of them held by fairweather holders or folk who, as they often brag, have averages sub 1p so might think about cutting their losses, in spite of the ramping good news?

the sells from placings have long since gone so who's selling? doubt many of them are at a loss. makes you thin, eh¬

More to the point, £12mill raised 3 months back at 510...

That was 8months ago... at £6+ and £5.50 these are now 20% discounted, minimum.

doubt they'll be buying on this drop but... maybe... either way, don't take their selling 6months ago as a sign as noone listened until this morning.

...split the difference and i'm guess at least 460, then 480 before settling back at placing. probably not all today's targets, but at least one of them... and give it a few days for the recovery. just imo but, seeing where the rest of the high street and retail is...

That growth projection is miles better than the general retail predictions. in a cautious market, that sounds better than the rest...

Never once said i'm an 'expert trader'... and i'm not hurting. added at 2.07, 2.09 and 1.88 last week.

i'm not hurting, except for not selling more in the upper 3s.

the 1.9 placing was a real cocck block to the sp and the news coming from it still hasn't materialised.

i'm not happy about the placing but i am seriously not happy about the cavalier attitude on the bb for those here who may be seriously in the red but are dismissed as irrelevant, without any consideration for them. while a rising tide lifts all ships and they'll be relieved with a recovery i'm not immune to their feelings as money isn't easily come for investing and the ramps persuaded them that '4p next' was due that afternoon and 10p within weeks. we'll see whether that one materialises.
