The 9 x more growth was from a miserable price so it wasn't surprising that it grew x9. if your previous revenue was pennies then 9x more pennies isn't saying much, relative to the mcap.

i suspect that's the reason for the drop in the sp as it's hard, in retrospect, to see a £70million mcap based on £2mill revenue and zero profit. the next news had better see £10mill revenue and £2mill profit otherwise it's going to have to be forward predictions on growth... and we can already see what the market thinks of optimistic projections by pi's...

AHS, you say the same about every share others are in... meaning you make huuuuge efforts to find something to crow about when neglecting to admit that 3.6 down to 1.5 is effin' awwwwwful. whatever other shares are playing with (hello, #BKS!) they're all doing better than GST.

the ONLY hope for this share is that ALL the company dealings come off: Easysend (sooo overdue), Bonfirepay (might as well not exist), integration (seriously doubt it'll move the sp much but, finger's crossed it get the sp to 2.5), the placing cash (everyone is clueless except it was used for Bake, in which case, why mention acquisitions!) and something/anything about Semnet progress.

if all these things come good then everyone will cheer and be happy with the sp but, seriously, how pish poor is their comms with the holders of the 1.7 billion shares held by pi's?!?!

The on;y positive take from that (which i'm sure all rampers are holding on to, like driftwood after a boat sinks) are that all that news must be 'imminent'!

still no herd buying in in anticipation... still 25% adrift from the pish placing.

There's no way they're still placing shares so someone/group is either buying and then selling the same shares to push the priced down, with the spread creating downard pressure or someone with a decent average is deciding to sell and move on.

either way, these 1million/1.5million repeat daily sells are disturbing me, if noone else (yes, i know... 'if you don't like it just sell'... give me a better price and i will).

Acquisitions aren't growth until the cost of the acquisitions is overtaken by the revenue generated by those new clients.

Why did the price go to 3.5p with ease in Jan? because it was ramped... and i'm beginning to suspect who are the paid posters here!

Why did the ii's throw in over 2 million quid at 1.9? because the sp was suspiciously ramped to 3.5 beforehand so they could sell all the shares into the rise and fall, while it was still significantly over 1.9p.

We're about to find out why. sp should recover to the company's placing price but it'll take proof that revenue AND profit is growing from all areas of the company to see anything over... 2.5? July is still a long way off for results so there will need to be news/proof that things are still on track. i'd be happy to see BoD adding to their holdings (very unlikely unless there's another placing in which they participate) or some stated HNWI...

Leeew, LSE is not the exclusive pool of investors in the company. i doubt they're the holders of 10% of the shares out there so the issue isn't with the conversations in here but the wider market.

you talk as if there aren't any other platforms or exchanges for them to reference as comparisons.

the conversations here are ridiculously insignficant compared to the 2.2billion shares that are out there so you shouldn't measure sentiment based on any of these posts.

the only barometer of confidence is the share price, which tells you topical sentiment. in the end, nothing else matters.

...because the comparison between a 100 year old company with developments in nuclear power, jet engines, marine power and a turnover of £5billion and GST is...

Nothing of the sort. mms can see that buys dry up so they were widening the spread, even as it was rising. they try to pull in more buys by suggesting it's still going up but the bid wa sstuck firmly at 1.5155 at best. as soon as a couple of sells kicked in mm's knew it was over, unless buying continued... and it didn't.

could slide back now as whoever bought in sells for evens and waits for another go or looks elsewhere for news. but am sure the lthers will hold because... they're lthers and thnik everything will be 250p eventually.

and it might... i suppose! but, in the very short term, could fall back again as the advertised next sell is at 1.48ish.

Arthur, whether it's a small rise (and you've highlited the 1.51 sell price not the buying price) but what it shows is there's still money out there to buy it, if it feels like the bottom. might not be but, the increase in volume is a good indicator that there's appetite for an oversold or 'imminent news' share that looks like its due a recovery.

still might wobble and the spread spoils the rise but it shows, when the time is right or when the news finally appears (shame they don't believe in spreading the love intra rns', enouraging volatility) then the sp WILL rise... only question is from where and what the news is. daresay most folk will just be happy to see 3p again so the question is going to be what the expectaton is of quick further news to prevent another spike/slide.

makes it ripe for trading, rather than holding, at least until something comes along that definitively positive. up to you whether you get in on theis drop or wait for the sp to move properly but if/when it happens, you'll know it.

bob, as for the BoD not being trusted again if the news isn't as advertised by the last rns',noone cares, in that it's the repercussions for the investors' holdings rather than BoD's business reputation, so financial rather than trust issue. by then it'll be too late, until a new batch of hopefuls come in prepared to give them another go..
