bigger question, for me, is why they would give away a further 60% of the asset for just $200k?

feels, to me, at least, that they'd be happy for 10% if they didn't have to find another penny to drill it themselves. but, $200k really isn't much to find for good news so... what gives?

You can pretty much always sell... it's just the price you're looking for as opposed to the price others are willing to pay.

easy trades only really happen on good volume... that was this morning. now you have to wait for TR1s or a price drop or a ramp... or news. take your pick...

Think it's not wise to keep saying '9x' without stating what those numbers represent as actual figures aren't quite as impressive... $250k > $2.23mill revenue growth is v nice but to duplicate that will need $22million.

God only knows if that's likely as there's nothing to judge it against, as a target.

so, what is acceptable: $3mill? $5mill? $10mill?

anything better than $4mill would be seen as setting up 2026 but then it comes down to Semnet news and when, exactly integration is more than just back end and sees the branding redefined into a singular name that is recognisable worldwide, even if starting small.

will all that be delivered or will revenue be stick in the $2-3million, with promises of new assets finally being recognised in the next financials?

eff knows... all i know is i can't stand another year of 'ducks being lined up', 'i saw a byline change and an icon added' as evidence of growth... not while there are silly shares out there multibagging daily, without the wait!

Trust isn't just about not lying... it's about guardianship of the shareprice too...

the sp is the barometer of the trust in the company... if folk aren't buying sifficient to overcomes the selling then that tells you something about the market confidence.

it isn't that the market doesn't believe what BoD say, it's that their statements aren't underpinned with anything that you can evaluate, beyond a six monthhly statement. you can't just say Semnet is going to be IPO'd and say nothing else, show nothing else, show movement! it's the same with all the assets... where is the informational support that gives confidence to more than the 5 rampers here who keep advertising their buys?

Why would they sell most of it for such a low price if it's a shoe-in?

5.8 is more realistic... the placing price will need a bit of time OR some further pr, showing the upside, either from govt policy or creation/expansion of sales team and verifiable access to govt grants.

then we see 10p...

'50,000 shares bought at 15 pence' - if a £7500 buy is now newsworthy here then the sp is in a sorry ol' state.

i remember with Thoth was about the predictions were for anything from 250p - £25 per share!

Doesn't matter what you say about pots or kettles... the facts are that the sp refuses to get anywhere near 1.9p atm... and is barely off the 1.125 that was mentioned earlier.

there are only so many reasons one can point to... the most obvious one is that there isn't really verifiable news out there that the assets have increased in value?

one assumes that the next update will furnish those but... where's the proof that they're in line with the 9x growth of the last results?

one likes to think it's a safe bet that the sp won't/can't get lower than current price with what vague updated news is out there but, atm, the only recent evidence we have of confidence is a £40k add and two rocket emojis...

I'm 'on about' the sp and why it's anchored to 1.25 - 1.35 and why it refuses to break out of that even with the same old general optimism about the future!

If there's no news then it'll have to be a ramp as i don't think there's enough out there to warrant a build up, based on the sp of the last 4 months... interest has fallen off a cliff, beyond the posters here who advertise their throwing significant holdings. it'd be different if the big buys weren't identified, as it would suggest buyers from outside this group and in the wider realm of investors...

as it is, it seems to always be the same 10 buyers (and then probably selling to get in on something else, before getting back in here)...

sounds like you bought in heavily on the assumption that it could never turn bad... and isn't that a lesson for all investing?

even though Rolls Royce is booming now you can see there was a point where it was a disastrous investment. now, whether ARB turns again or whether SWC does an ARB and crashes (highly likely, imo as i don't see how assets worth 1/10th of the mcap is viable) you deal with the situation as it is and make your decision.

same with GST, you place your bet as to which direction it goes in, you can imagine the messages that'll be posted, in either direction.

I think anyone who punted #ARB from 2020 - 2022 would disagree with you... 4p > 270 > 80p still sounds good to me, Peter Wall or no Peter Wall!

Well, you'll read folk on here who did very well on ARB... just like folk are doing v well on SWC... it's the lthers who suffered in ARB...

TAP is a new one to me as never bothered with AQSE platform... personally, i think the SWC rise is thoroughly illogical... i don't see how it's supported or how buyers keep going in, knowing that their holdings are only worth 1/10th or the mcap.. i doubt TAP will emulate it as i suspect it's the ramping that has supported it... but, if you're in it you're not likely to complain... just like GST when it got ramped to 3.5... it's only when reality bites and you get a reversal (like the 1.9 placing) that normality returns.

then again, even i think that 1.3 here is too low but, if the market isn't interested or it's too opaque to look good for a dabble or it's been played previously... or there's just not enough news out there for anyone beyond the already committed... then it comes down to results. and you either have to be in it or watching from the sidelines.

as far as TAP is concerned, i'd talk about it on TAP... i only mentioned it to make the point that GST isn't unique in what it offers...
