Been doing some research about the current operating mining companies in Cyprus. Seems VM are based there, and state on their website to have selected over a period of 15 years, the best licenses and properties on the island for it's portfolio of projects!
Also think they are a private company.
Just wondered if they might join in the fun at some stage!! DYOR GLA

Same here, liked what I've read so far.
All my other stocks are miners/ drillers
Worth a read, very surprised their side of the deal didn't move it's SP !
Could be a decent play, food for thought.

Serious question, sorry if it's been mentioned previously.
IF we receive a special dividend, then what price will the SP reflect after all most all asset sale?
Will the dividend be calculated as a given percentage or just everything above SP as of date of sale?
Only held these for 7 months but would like to be with who ever takes it over. That could be ( if possible ) where my divis go!
Just been researching Jangada Mines ( LON; JAN ), they have Vanadium, Titanium & Iron ore deposits in Brazil.
Anyway, in March they invested in a company called FODERE TITANIUM LIMITED, who's chairman is NVS !!!
Turns out they are a very up and coming Co. with some high tech mineral processing magic.
small world indeed

Palladium on a roll
Tired of gold? The smart money might be on palladium, which has hit a record high as carmaker demand and supply disruptions look set to keep the market in a deep deficit.
The metal has climbed 16pc in 2021, building on five years of gains. Palladium has been in heavy demand for use in catalytic converters in petrol cars. Supply disruptions at Russian mines run by MMC Norilsk Nickel, the world’s number one producer, have exacerbated the shortfall, Bloomberg reports.
“A series of positive supply and demand factors have been driving up prices,” said Philip Klapwijk, managing director of Hong Kong-based consultant Precious Metals Insights. “That at the margin will also have sucked in some speculative trend-following money. Also, more generally, palladium had been rangebound for a while until mid-March and the 'catalyst' of Russian supply disruption.”
