RE: NHS Eststes Conference tomorrow18 Apr 2023 12:25
Pat2014, I’m not sure I would recommend taking any notice of me!
I went to the original sales pitch by Harvey, before the IPO, which I bought. I sold those, but I can’t remember what price.
I started serious buying when the bod came out with the bonds issue. They had obviously overtraded, but I can’t decide whether it happened by accident, or design. Conveniently, the bod, one significant shareholder and a new shareholder came up with the £2.575m to cope with the growing pains. The cynic in me says they knew they were going to overtrade and decided to take advantage of the situation.
The astonishing part was the market’s reaction. It was illogical, to me, that the sp dropped, dropped and kept dropping! Basically, I kept buying.
Net Zero is a wonderful ambition, being exercised by cretins. Digging up the Congo using child labour, to source and refine materials, which sit in a week long traffic jam to get processed into batteries for cars that will need millions of miles of copper cable, so they can be charged with electricity created using coal and gas is plain dumb.
EAAS is a notable exception in all this madness. It monitors energy usage, advises on increasing efficiency, installs energy saving devices and sources the cheapest energy. It also provides charging facilities for said inefficient EVs, but I suppose somebody has to.
Not only does it do these things well, but it is scalable. Get more business, subcontract the projects. On top of that, which school, business, hospital or government department will NOT want to save money AND get the credit for reducing their carbon footprint?
I can’t see what there is to stop them for years to come.
I think Harvey Sinclair will want to sell out for a massive profit, as he has done previously, but my personal view is that 10p is nailed on. I admit to selling 200k in the last run up, on the strict condition that I bought them back, but I got distracted and failed to buy back. I’m not making that mistake again.
As I say, I’m not the best person to ask about making money, so good luck, whatever you do.
