Marklee1, we know that the old concentrator is working 24/7 and that the new concentrator is due to be commissioned within weeks.

It makes sense to have adequate training for new staff to be ready for the jump up to 16/7 for the crusher, Jig and mill and the new concentrator. When they are up to speed, it will be time to take on the final group of trainees, the ones that are being advertised for now, for the leap to 24/7 production.

We need 24/7 production in place, to ramp up to the 200 tonnes of tungsten ($4m gross sales) and 20 tonnes of tin ($367k gross sales) per month.

I’ll be happy with 30, 50 and 100 tonnes for July, August and September.

2cvguy, I have been expecting this news for ages, but probably the first jobs were given to friends and family. One of the senior chaps is very popular and well connected in the local community, so I’m sure word of mouth was all they needed to attract workers.

One can never give actual figures for future events, as I have have freely admitted every time you raise the point.

Unemployment is very high in that area, so I would IMAGINE that the phone number they gave out has been very busy.

Once the concentrator is commissioned and we are mining 24/7, total staff will go up to 200. Jobs will be well paid and WRES will be the largest local employer, in a region with very high unemployment.

Just like we always say, safetyman, making money while doing good.
