Blencowe Resources: Aspiring to become one of the largest graphite producers in the world. Watch the video here.
Jim800 that's true, anyway what's in the past is not relevant now. As it stands, BA have been shaking hands with other players actually making strides in the industry, with Velocys left well behind. Henrik Wareborn will likely be polishing his new golf clubs, payed for by us, the investors. He must be looking forward to some time off I guess. The question is how much more cash can he squeeze out before then. I certainly won't oblige him with one more penny.
Selling may be done now, hopefully a stable organic rise back up with new fundamentals to support it. After the last RNS though it appears there may be a fund raise coming, likely also another reason for the sharp sell-off this week.
UKParker, rampers and de-rampers will always be around, that's why you must DYOR. Otherwise you only have yourself to blame. The company has potential but that's all it is for now, potential. Yet to be proven.
Jim 800, there used to be, when I first invested the partnership was with BA and Shell, and we all know what happened there. But BA used to be clearly touted is a Velocys partner.
the stock price heading for half of the last issue price, i cannot see how the carbon direct capital deal will go through. who could possibly provide matched funding with vls looking like absolute ****e right now.
Any news why this got smashed today?
Expat is totally correct here, Velocys is allegedly in partnership with BA yet there has not been a single mention of VLS in any of the BA SAF updates in almost two years, even through the so called milestones that VLS has achieved such as govt. grants, not a whisper of support or congratulations from BA. A not a penny of matched funding from BA to secure the govt. grant either. Instead we only see BA signing deals with the competition. This is a big red flag for me personally.
Just regurgitation of old information that we already know. This seems to be aimed at the newbies so far.
We need a miracle and I really doubt they will answer the tough questions.
And don't underestimate the intelligence of questioning coming from the UK. When a mans hard earned cash hangs on a thread then the questions will be brutal.
They can still tune in regardless. I hope they do and hammer those questions away. Trouble is many of the best questions will be ignored.
VLS still need to secure the rest of the investment for the latest funding round, no sign of that yet.
Why are we only getting this RNS now? 10 days later. My guess this goes into their high risk fund, that the clients agree to take a punt as a small part of their portfolio. The current stock price doesn't reflect anything exciting.
MarketViking, the government have awarded the largest grant of 27 million to Altalto, it's down to Velocys to pull their fingers out to get it. Looking at the massive salaries and frivolous spending on the books, it's clear that they have spunked the proceeds of the last placing into the ground. In what world does a CEO take 530k for himself in a company that is making no money. The government is no to blame im afraid. Also look at BA, they haven't said a word about Velocys in a very long time. If BA walk away, VLS are done, if they cannot find matched investment by September, VLS are done.
