I wont go as far as doing a worked example with numbers
However I can say with absolute certainty that in your stated situation, you end up with:
1. More money invested (gets bigger each time you repeat the process)
2. More shares (again increasing with each repitition)
But
3. a higher average acquired price (gets higher each time, above your 4p start point)
Anyhoo - enough of maths
You seem to be committed to a balanced view and not over hype. Cant argue with that. Best of luck to you and all.
Here’s to a week or two, post funeral, where I think lots of firms will be trying to create a bounce and wave of positivity of news to bring in Charles III reign and help the UK markets lead a sprightly period of news for UK in general. In his and Lizzys honour.
Maybe the £ might have a good day or two in amongst it too (not that that will effect us)
