I think anyone who knows this share and saw 5p will have either bought or wanted to/wished they could.

Ridiculous to go down to that level really from what was stab in the dark drilling across untouched land mass between known porphrys. All of which hitting something.

No brainer to get more and bonkers to watch. But hey ho.

Bankrupt - take a look back at the eclipse RNS from 2020 and early 21. Thats prior to current MD, who is more ambitious, but is helpful in showing what happened under previous, more conservative, strategy where they JORC proofed at least £15m worth of gold that you could get out the ground with a bucket and spade and at next to nothing costs.

Everything happening now is adding to that (very excitingly) around the sides and underneath the same area, and we also have several million in the bank to pay for it all (covering most of current MCAP as you say)

When you add those items together it all seems a bit bonkers
But makes it an easy buy decision.

It’s crazy to be sat on the Mcap we are with what’s already under JORC, the cash in bank and the results we are now seeing.

Feels this has to get itself back To 3p or 4p plus sharpish

Ive benefitted from others making a post like this previously about OMI so I feel a little bit obligated.

Disclaimer - OMI is and remains my biggest Gold holding. Indeed the 21k purchase at 9.85p yesterday morning was me adding more

However it is a quieter period and another of my smaller Gold holdings in Australia has drill bit in the ground and is seeing significant results. Just reported 40g/t!! And hit gold on every hole in a new guesswork zone.

EEE - Empire Metals.

They are only small, already have a small JORC for an open pit, are exploring new ground (where they hit the 40g jackpot on first guess holes) and have as much cash in their bank as their current market cap (£3m) which is funny

They wont be what OMI will be scale wise I don’t think and don’t represent a comparable opp. I have 4times a bigger holding in OMI. But I’m case anyone is a Gold explorer holder in general and interested in another less known portfolio option , EEE are a little one bubbling along nicely.

PS cant wait for this to start chucking more regular news and climb back to the 40p plus level. Am certain it will happen. Just waiting. Come on team OMI!! :)

Stocks leaving indices effects ETFs and passive investments. It has no effect on stock picking via brokers who sell that share. Not sure where all the confusion is.

Some brokers have stopped messing with Russian stocks but that’s nothing to do with indices changes. It’s purely to do with risk aversion or problems with Russia in general

Most brokers still buy/sell and will continue unless this actually de-lists.. which was spoken about years ago but hasn’t been for a while
