dubmaskullanga- Tesla have been looking into this for years, in fact mode S and X we’re all designed with rapidly swappable batteries so they could pull off just this. They even had a pilot station in Coalinga, CA which reportedly could swap a batteries pack in seven minuets, though it has since closed.... Things have changed over the years as Tesla has moved away from swappable batteries and into supercharger tech, there is a whole list of reasons for this move (see link 1). However there are rumours that they are still pursuing the idea quietly in the background. Here’s a couple of links for you if your interested. MIKINAMAN- the partition is currently at 3,734 signatures. You need 10,000 to get a government response and 100,000 to get it debated in parliament. The partition closes on September 4th. https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/242399
We’ve made into the top 5 daily risers for the London stock exchange (AIM). Check the home page if you don’t believe me. How’s that for publicity. https://www.londonstockexchange.com/companies-and-advisors/aim/aim/aim.htm Regards, Another Jerry
You mean Instagram Coffee, snapchat is a completely independent company. Facebook and google tried to buy it out, but both the 3 billion and 30 billion offers were turned down. (Personally I would of taken the 30 billion, but I guess that’s just me) Other than that the metaphor seems pretty sound.
As someone whose 20 and well versed in social media (let’s face it my generation lives off it), I can tell you Instagram is probably not the place for Bushveld.... to sum up Instagram, it’s literal pourpose is to show off your life. That’s it, full stop. And yes, most companies have pages but no one care about them. There’s not one persons that I know that follows coke, Samsung or microsoft let alone some mining company in South Africa (no disrespect meant). If you wanted to appeal to the younger generation Twitter seems like the best place for it, it’s used by people that are probably more open to investing as well. If you really (and I mean really really) want to appeal to the younger genoration then you could buy some Instagram adds, which are relatively cheap and you can specify what target audience you want them shown to. Then have that add take you to the Bushveld perspective page. I’m working at the moment so that’s all I can contribute for now
Happy new year to all!!!! I know this thread is quieter than our slightly larger South African brothers, but best wishes all the same. Looking forward to the new year and all the news that’ll be coming our way..... Take care, have fun, and as always DYOR Regards, AnotherJerry
Not going to lie, trying to read what you just typed was like chewing glass. Also You might want to ‘YouTube’ what an apostrophe is...
Being that it seems that the market makers have a lot to do with the sp (currently, hopefully this will change soon), are there any books that you guys would recommend on the topic? On a side note, hope everyone is throughly enjoying Christmas and are looking forward to the new year. Big thanks to all the posters and the time you put into this bb, I like many can’t thank you enough... It’s awe inspiring to read each and every post and to see how much you care about this company. Regards, AnotherJerry
Did you lot see that episode of dynasties where that water-buffalo gave it the big “I am” and ran strait into the lions, only to be torn to pieces seconds later. That’s kinda like what just happened.
Ahah Alfa, I must commend you. You are relentless...
As you quite rightly pointed out I am no battery chemist, and like I said I’ve only recently finished my Alevels. So, when I said I’d explain of course I was referring to the wording of the paper not the actual composition and makeup of VRFB’S. That was just me trying to help out and offer up what I know, so others could follow along if they were interested.
So, to answer your question, no I can’t tell you exactly how much Tin is in a 1MW/4MWh VRFB. If you so badly want to know, I’m quite happy to look into it as it presents a challenge and I’m quite up for that. Though it might take me a while….
I’m curious though man, why do you have it out for me so bad? I’ve never said anything negative about either BMN or ATM, I’ve only really asked questions up to this point.
@sanchez Or he could just wrap it up in all the money BMN is making....
I’ve linked some webpages that you might find useful on the use of tin in VFRB’s, that explain the uses in relatively understandable terms. I’m quite fortunate to have just finished my a-levels in physics, and have a general knowledge of chemistry as I did it for my A2 exams. So it makes sense to me, but if anyone would like it explaining just ask. The information I’ve sourced on this seems to come form one case study, and from the same reasearch group. So take from that what you want in terms of reliability, but that being said was published by the Korean university of technology. I’m not looking to have my through cut like I have repeatedly in the BMN chat. Just thought I’d share what I’d been looking into. Have a read and come to you own conclusions. As far as I’m aware tin is being considered as an replacement for graphite in the anode of battery cells. Graphite is a relatively stable and cheep material to use hence why it’s widly accepted as the standard. I’m writing this at work hence why the description is so brief, but essentially using tin as a replacement for graphite triples the cells storage. That being said this applies to lithium ion battery’s, not sure how it would affect VRFB’s. I’ll have a look in my break.
Hi alpha, I’m sorry you’ve miss understood me, I certainly could of worded it better. Yes, I’m well aware of this. Every trade I make is off of my own opinion and reasearch, so far it’s served me well. On top of the sp increase I’ve made roughly a 30-40% increase as a result of selling at the highs and buying at the corrections. It’s just that I’m a curious person and like to know what others think. Like I said I’m relatively new, so asking for your opinion and seeing if it aligns with my prediction helps settle the nerves.
If you must know, I’ve been here since the 17p days. I didn’t open an account with Lse as I was quite content with sitting on the side lines and just reading along. I only opend an account recently as I wanted to ask questions and get opinions. With reference to me asking about the correction. I wanted to see if people thought it was going to go any further, as I would of sold my position and rode the downtrend as much as possible. I know that’s is frowned apon within this circle, but when you have an account size of a mear 10k (laughable I know) you really got to try and maximise the gains. As for ATM everyone knows the cardinal rule of ‘don’t keep all your eggs in one basket’ so I wanted to diversify but keep it as close to BMN as that’s what I know. Hope this clarifies that I’m not a short.
I mean that is an interesting thesis, and to be fair you make some good points.... Or it could be that while I’ve been invested in bmn for a while it’s my only position, and that I’ve only really started taking trading seriously this past year. Which by chance might mean that I don’t quite have the confidence of you seasoned veterans. As a result those ‘spurious’ questions you refer to might only be an inexperienced trader, looking to tap into the vast knowledge of this community and hopefully learn something. I’d happily show you my account size and positions, but by the standards of this community are relatively laughable. Let me know
Um, no.... I was just asking for opinions, I’m long on this stock and want it to do well. You don’t have to take every question as a personal attack
What’s everyone’s opinions, end of correction or do we have a little more to go?!?
Hi guys, relatively new to ATM and only really just started looking into it. I’ve been invested in BMN for ages however I was thinking of diversifying a little and I have about 10k in disposable cash. I’ve seen talk of share dilution to free up cash for the plant devlopement. What’s everyone’s opinion, do I wait till this supposed share dilution? or do I jump in now and hope the increase in SP covers the depreciation of the share dilution? Obviously the theme of do your own reasearch applies, but I was curious what you lots think. From what I’ve gathered from the BMN chat fatbanker and 993, you guys seem to know a lot.... What’s your though?
