Her plan had to get passed the EU first. And judging by their recent rhetoric, the previous meetings she's had with them didn't go well.

But assuming the do agree something very close to remaining, then the ERG need to vote against it or the Conservatives are going to lose a big chunk of voters. So it's not really about teaming up with Labour. But if both Labour and The ERG vote against it, that's big numbers having no confidence in her plan.

Bu there's also a gap from 235.20 that's just happened. So this is why I probably won't drop in a straight line if it's going to... there will probably be a lot of city traders sitting on a profit from their shorts looking to close.

177.20 is a Nov 2017 gap that's not been filled. Usually gaps get filled eventually, but not always... nearly always

Billy the way I trade Glen I don't look for targets, I just trade when crossovers happen... at the moment the chart is mildly negative, but anything can happen. I just trade what's happening and hope it goes on a run, if it doesn't take a small hit and reverse it.

Asda is cheaper, but their service is shocking. Shelves half stocked or empty a lot... Click and Collects and Deliveries I've had... some didn't turn up at all. Some half complete... not remotely fit for purpose. Sainsbury's is alright, reliable deliveries and click and collect, but on the stuff I buy more they're expensive. Morrison's is the same.

Tesco Deliveries, Click & Collect and shelves all good.

Aye that's fly, no doubt about it. No way their costs have went up that much, and if a corner shop can do it for less (on average) with far less buying power, then something's not right.

It can't happen without the Conservatives voting for it, Turkey's don't vote for Christmas. I wouldn't rule it completely out though, if the ERG are angry enough, they might vote go for an act of self harm in protest. Depends how many of them are so rich that they don't need the £74k MP's salary I suppose, and how many of them are in marginal seats likely to lose them.

Yeah that will be why Sainsbury's want to buy Asda. Tesco now has greater buying power, the more the buying power, the lower they can cut prices.

If their new "Jacks" brand of Discount stores does well, they could eat some of Aldi and Lidl's lunch. Plus I read that 80% of the products sold in the Jacks stores are made in the UK. That will capture the patriotic Brexit voters haha

This one's not a strong short yet. The 8 dema has crossed below the 34 dema on the 2 hour chart, but no complete candle has both opened and closed below the McGuinley Dynamic (Trend Monitoring Indicator) yet... if that happens then it's a strong short. Right now it's a short with tight stop.

Plus it's like getting blood out of a stone doing a deal with the EUSSR, as we've seen with the UK and Canada.

When the CEO sorts Thailand and Poland out the company will do well. Thailand stopped their citizens being able to use Government food stamps in Supermarkets, so that caused a drop in sales in their Thailand Tesco Lotus business. And Poland stopped retailers trading on a Sunday so that hit their sales in Poland too.

Their core Grocery business sales were up for the UK though, so the company seems to be in overall good shape. The CEO did well at Uni Lever, so I think they're in good hands.

The trade war is the big one to watch, but I don't think Trump will do anything before the mid terms. China could surprise, but I doubt it as they have more to lose than the USA.

I don't think trump will wait till January though to start another fight. The EU might be next again, I don't think any actual deal between the USA and the EU has been finalised. Just Junker flying over with his tail between his legs to calm trump down after he threatened 25% tariffs on EU cars.

The chart's negative. Right now it's a short signal, it's been a short since the 26/09 @ 4pm... doesn't mean the chart will be right, nothing is 100%.

I'm getting a bit bored sitting in cash. I might trade with a small amount to give me an interest in between the school run etc mulling over whether to spread bet to go long and short or just go long. Billy will hate me if I start shorting, so might just be a nice guy :-)
