I won't give a running commentary of what's going on with the charts, some people have miss interpreted what I've meant and based their trading on general commentary.

I'll just come back to this thread and put what price I've closed at and when even if it's a loss, followed by the next short entry.

I'm going to trade a modified version of the Wave Trend Oscilator. It means I'll be holding positions for weeks at a time potentially, saves me constantly checking the chart. So when I go long the next time, it's not unusual for the position to go against me for a bit and then recover with this strategy. (Not always though) sometimes it just goes on a run straight away.

Just sticking to my rules mate, sometimes it causes be to give back some of the profit. Sometimes it has me holding for far more than most would expect in a single trade. Hopefully it evens out.

haha no Billy, I trade what I see... I could have come out with the RSI hitting peak oversold... but sometimes there's a bounce then another sell off... which means going long would result in giving back some of the profits and not getting the short entry. I'm still up over 20 pips in a week. That's decent

311.85p Gap down now filled.I'll open the long if this continues, but I'm not expecting a rapid rise this time... might even be one of those trades that gets cut on a loss. Short still open till I open the long.

I'll need to think about a decent stop though... the market in general is looking dodgy. If it decides to sell off even more in the coming trading sessions it won't matter how good any individual stocks are, they'll all take a beating.

I'm close to going long, I should know by 4pm if I am or not. Wave Trend Oscilator has given a long signal, but it could repaint if it sells off before 4pm. If it doesn't I'll close the short and open a long.

I'm only trading Glen just now due to it's high Beta Volatility. But DGE may be a long target soon. Watch it for hitting the 2300's level... then wait for Bullish confirmation.

It could bounce now due to it's gap down, but I'm not convinced it's finished selling off yet.

I'll be going long when the chart's ready mate. Doesn't mean I'll be right, nothing is 100%

It's obviously more than just technical trading affecting the global markets. Filling gaps is fairly irrelevant other than to hasten the drop if there's gaps to fill. We're not in normal trading conditions.

Sorry to those holding, I'm not one of those ar*eholes that gets pleasure from getting it right when others didn't. It happens to all of us, including me.
