just me or anyone else struggling ?

Beginning to think/hope there has been a leak and/or as a result, north has postponed/stopped reducing for the time being . My guess is open 40.25 without rns 42.5 with. Talk of takeover is going to gather pace now with the shell in prime spot. Actually don’t want to be taken over but would love the effect an offer would have on the sp and profile :) gla

Also i have just realised that the same officials who know this is going to spud perhaps let it be know that an option later @ 3.35 is a total and utter " no brainer" lol price goes up yes please and without having to dip into ones bank account at all. Spud happens price is 7p plus, sell half of your fund allocation and buy them back @ 3.35 lol dang ya gotta love nepotism. All good for me though bring on 7p thanx very much.

I think more to the point is this.... If the option is exercised WE WILL NOT CARE lol because it will only be taken up by the fund once there is clear blue water between the 3.35 and the prevailing sp !! so i say lets get to an sp where the fund would be remiss in NOT taking up the offer.. gla

I presume its akin to a warrant ? To be exercised at the discretion of the fund soooo when we shoot past 3.35 i suppose if the option is exercised there will be a tiny " sea anchor" but it the tiniest dilution as opposed to say forward selling of a warrant Better minds than i can probably provide a better answer. But my personal view is the right news and we will smash by the 3.35 regardless of the fund even dumping them all.

No because that would have left ambiguity !! ie an open ended open priced fund ?? The whole point of a closure date is ... wait for it " closure". No ambiguity about how many or at what price the fund can buy at at a later date. By setting the price at prevailing sp it says this is the max amount of new shares ,this is the max price. Again anything else would have left the market in doubt as to future shares in issue. Im beginning to think you are being deliberately and negatively provocative.

Sorry but obviously a famr in has not been agreed yet !! Thats sp sensitive information and heads would roll if it were not delivered via rns !!!! The only neutral price to set was the prevailing price at the time of the fund closure !! How can you not see a lower price or a higher price than the prevailing sp was impossible ???

Little more to it than that. The cos is i believe 35% its a 100% owed wildcat and the bod think they know what they have! fully funded and about to happen. Which means the % they are willing to hand over is way way less than normal in these situations. Its a game of chicken and once the bit starts turning the price or % will change dramatically. Who blinks first loses. Lets see who that is.

And a history of oil finds in the region, which should mean spud fillip, find fillip and then hopefully a commercial sized find report . Which simply means exciting times ahead. bol

The "local costs" would have been incurred anyway !! This just simply does two things, avoids conversion costs from dollars to b/d and clarifies that these funds were NOT and will not been needed for the drill of perseverance, and for that matter were NEVER needed. Its saying drill fully funded this is cherry on a very fine looking cake. Has reading between the lines become a lost art ?
