I asked Malcy about whether he would include Zenith in the future on his bucket list. My question and his response is below:
Me - Malcy, I know you have visited with Zenith Energy. Do you feel they may be worth a place on the list in the near future?
Malcy - I have indeed and have been impressed by their hard work on the difficult workover wells. However it is too soon to consider bucket list addition but are on my mind for the longer term.
Distressed seller would be my guess, possibly Beaufort. From the last RNS we know the timelines for news on operations which are expected in April, I'm guessing late April. So I don't think this is someone dumping due to insider info.
After the 1 million sell there will be plenty of shares needed to be mopped up before we see the any positive movement in the share price. All the 6.55p trades are listed are sells but are all buys, the small size of the trades aren't going to do much though. We need some interest and money coming in from new investors, this is probably only going to happen with big positive news.
SP falling again, had 2 small buys at 6.7p this morning totalling 45,000 shares. That's me all done now with any Zenith top ups now. Holding just under 500,000 shares.
He probably is a wealthy man and he won't be buying shares with the ambition to lose money or prop up the SP leading into a dilution. Anyone who does that is insane!
There hasn't been a great number of sells since the initial sell off after the Zardab update. On the flip side to that we haven't seen much buying either apart from AC. I think he is buying because he sees the bargain of a share price and knows it won't be like this for much longer. I am happy with my recent top ups and bringing my average down significantly
I'm guilty of the 1 share trade earlier on, consider it part of Friday fun. Before anyone tells me I wasted £6 on it bare in mind that I'm currently £10k + down on this investment. I will however be topping up next week again, significantly more than 1 share this time. I thought AC's buys showed confidence to the workover project, although some on here seem skeptical that it could be a way of him screwing the company over. I can't see the sp drifting back further considering the high oil price and steady production. Any increases in production should send this straight to 10p which I hoping my average will drop under after the next top up.
Honesty is the best policy in my opinion but it can hurt!! I'm really disappointing that there is a continuation of problems with the workovers and you have to start to wonder if they can pull this off.
