If, as the RNS says, Rizikon generated £252k revenue in the year ended 31 Dec 2023, then it would have had to have a very bad 2024 and / or be forecast to have a very bad 2025 for it to be worth less than £15k.

It is easy to imagine how £15k could have been run up in expenses alone to initiate a relationship with the two "significant organisations as partners" that the RNS mentions.

I've looked at a few RNS from Crossword to try and find out something about Rizikon.

On 20 Sep 2022, it was stated that "On track to achieve 1,000 users of Rizikon by the end of 2022, from 500 at the end of 2021, with the continued growth in the membership body programme"

That said, Crossword Cybersecurity couldn't make it pay and had racked up £19m losses on its balance sheet in the 2023 accounts.

That's the Rizikon product from the administration of Crossword Cybersecurity plc.

It all sounds good in the RNS. But is Mr Rajakovich going to help Acuity sell more, more quickly. At this stage, nothing matters more than that, does it?

I asked the same question on advfn. The first response is that it is Mr Barker who is also involved in Mobile Streams plc (as per this RNS https://www.londonstockexchange.com/news-article/MOS/director-appointment/16417640)

I hope that is correct and it is that Mr Barker who has bought into Acuity.

A new >3% holder has surfaced according to the RNS TR-1 today. Robert John Barker with 6,000,000 shares.

Is there any particular background that he has that makes his interest in the company especially significant?

Not much in there to get excited about.

Lost £100k per month over the half year. Has £1.855m in the bank, so decent runway. But I remember the Chairman saying (in early Dec 2023) he expected the company to be cash generative by the end of Q2 2024 and profitable by the end of 2024.

The plc accounts were filed at Companies House on 15 July 2024 (due 30 June 2024).

Hopefully the new CFO and the new adviser stay on top of such admin from here.

Not the end of the world by any means, but this sort of sloppy administration simply should not happen at this level.

The agm statmenet is, of course, upbeat

but it appears to me that the market still needs to shake off the urgently executed £1m fundraise before it will reward forecasts of jam tomorrow

Having had a quick glance at the accounts, the raise looks like it was an urgent requirement.

I am not worried about the company and the story has lot of positives, but it has clearly been very tight on cash and I hope they can get on top of that from business cashflow asap

How embarrassing to have missed them! No good can come from having Friday's off...

Anyway, the money is raised now, so the point is purely theoretical

If the accounts are going to be fantastic, why not announce the raise alongside that good news?
