Back on the 3rd of April and the 20th of September 2019, we had the only two RNS in the past year as well as an excellent interview by David Horgan on Proactive Investors. After all the hurdles Clontarf have had to jump they have only one more to succeed. I don't think they will make a hash of it, with so many factors in favour for them to get ratification. I bought in at the beginning of last August at 0.30p, within days it crashed down to 0.22p on no news and then slowly climbed before the RNS in September. I am willing to wait, patience is a virtue ( hopefully I wont be proved wrong ).
Thanks Tiburn and Bridges for your well balanced posts
It's been a slow road for Clontarf since I first bought in, in June 2016 ( sold out in June 2017 ), and again buying back in last August. They have achieved ( at the moment ) to jump over every hurdle that has been set up before them, admitedly very slowly. The finishing line is in sight and to those who are patient, we will surely cross it. Conditions appear to be right with the Ghanian Govt wanting to show the Global Business World, coruption is a thing of the past.
As risendshine has noted, this share rises very quickly on a whiff of news!
David Horgan said in the Proactive interview back in September that Tano 1 is prospective, and have spoken in the past of bringing in partners. The problem the Majors had was they know ratification takes a while to get ( as we all have seen ), and once successful they would be keen to farm in with Clontarf and it's partners. We are close, and when this happens I'm sure there will be a rerate.
In the , the penultimate paragraph of the Ghana section, the directors say they understand that the Petroleum Agreement is now being sent to the cabinet
The final paragraph mentions that there is mutual desire to complete the ratification process.
Sounds all very positive to me.
This my first post and I've a modest investment in Clon of just over 500k. What do members put on GNPC having a 10% stake in the bid have on it been successful? Constructive replies appreciated . Many thanks in anticipation
