You have received the divi already? Was under the impression it’s ex-div today, to be paid on 13/9?
So long as the share price rises over time the dividend releases cash to reinvest as you wish, either here or elsewhere. Today’s drop is more due to Goldman Sachs revision of target, not the ex div itself. Get some perspective.
Goldman issuing a sell to 45p - while the rest of the analysts are increasing their ratings. Sounds to me like Goldman wants shares.
Important to note that this balance sheet is based on a year where many Oil majors saw profits slashed - buying future profitability here that should now return with work overs and a strong oil/gas price.
Another Ayatollah snoozy de-ramp *yawn*
KCB remains a highly exciting prospect and I’m sure the drill will prove it later in the year.
Whilst I admit that the PR shown by Echo has been woeful - hopefully this goes some way to reassuring people that there’s still work going on to progress the company.
These trades have appeared across a number of the shares in my portfolio. Seems like there’s been a glitch dating from the 19th April that’s now been corrected.
What on earth could a CEO of a share, stand to gain by purposely allowing the share price to slide?
Should still be communicated - increased capacity from the new pipeline requires an RNS and the info shouldn’t be with held once known.
The RNS well overdue, both positive to outline what’s done or negative to outline what’s holding them up.
Once again with the new thread when a reply would suffice. I don’t get how asking why someone would remain invested when they’re clearly pessimistic about their investment, is seen as childish. I can handle realism and seeing both sides of the coin etc which is why I’m bullish long term opposed to short, but cmon, no need to be so negative in a public forum.
Util, if this glaringly obvious why do you remain invested? Or have you invested in a share without an exit strategy?
Just wondering if there had been any further communication with MH et al? Appreciate your effort in reaching out and trying to get a better PR engagement for the good of the shareholder community.
ATB Som, wish I had the excess capital to take your lead.
Definitely not all sells - the midpoint system used accuracy drops drastically on lower volumes on trades.
The 95% dilution for current shareholders is quite a hit. Will be watching how this progresses closely. GLA.
I’m not sure you realise how threads work..
Util, I understand there’s tonnes of experienced people here including yourself, but the incessant bleating for more info from MH is beyond me. How often would you like information? It hasn’t been that long since the last update, and there’s been several other updates and Q&A’s etc. This half.
I understand your frustrations, but complaining on a BB isn’t going to change a damn thing, only put off other investors and a swing in momentum.
And one very minor gripe, could you learn to reply in a thread, as opposed to starting a new thread for every reply. Keeps the BB more concentrated.
ATB.
Do you really think a CEO that has very much come in to turnaround the fortunes of the company, spends his day tossing it off simply because he doesn’t tell the little guys what he’s doing with every second of his day? Share price isn’t directly indicative of a companies work simply because the market is irrational. Yes the SP has slid, but the company is in a far better place than it was 12 months ago. And will be in a much better place in 13 months time. I understand investors have had to be patient, but a little more will be needed.
Any positivity for the week ahead? Or more negativity and skepticism?
Hopeful the pipeline RNS will be out by week end and we establish a bottom for the reversal to build. Have a good week all.
