George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
I still truly believe that when drill hits ground we will be getting a helium discovery - I think people shouldn’t forget that’s what got us to invest in the first place. Whether it’s 2022 or slips to 2023, this WILL rocket on a discovery. If it does get delayed it only gives more time to accumulate!
Gotta ride the good with the bad. Hope everyone is holding up ok - I know it’s not fun for now but hold tight.
Any chance you can explain this to those of us not chart inclined?
3rd in just over a year - what is going on?
Great to see drilling back underway! - imagine drill cores to follow shortly!
For further clarification -
As I know the greater horn area is reasonably undefined in this model it includes: Burundi, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda.
and
JJAS = June, July, August and September.
OND = October, November and December.
Hi all,
Seen some comments about the rainy season this year. Thought I would share some forecasts. I have access to a global crop monitoring software from an old project and it has a red warning (2/10 highest) for both JJAS and OND 2022 for East Africa/Greater Horn Area.
The GHA is expecting slightly increased levels of rain in JJAS, largely around Ethiopia and South Sudan but the October-December short rain season is still predicted to be ‘drier-than-normal’ with a continuation of high temperature anomalies as a result of El Niño/La Nina (same as last year).
Multi-modelling forecasts indicate a category 2 warning for JJAS and OND attributed to elevated chances for strong negative Indian Ocean Dipole, moderate La Niña and strong West Pacific Gradient conditions. Model accuracy: Strong (85th percentile). Prediction: Drier-than-normal. Range: 5mm-78mm. Cloud Coverage: 46-60% est.
While not good for the region this is advantageous for our drill campaign and means we’re likely to be able to carry on both further into the usual rainy season and are less likely to be inhibited by drier than usual conditions.
Just a curiosity - I see a lot of the same names posting here and I'm interested to see what sort of positions people have, no matter what stance you currently have on the company. Just for fun, no pressure to post I know it's a sensitive topic for some.
I'm just north of 400k.
Yeah - I’ve spoke to Mark a few times before so I’ve sent him an email regarding this. He is usually quite good for replying, just takes a bit of time (understandably).
