Hi Lazarus. Are you suggesting that the board could have steered the publication of the peer review to coincide with our trip and presence in San Diego ? I.e asked for it's release now rather than say , 2 weeks ago if it was ready then ? If they could legally request that delay then they've played a blinder ! If tox study dosing started on 17/2 we've already gone an extra week past the previous study before it was stopped . In this case , hopefully no news is good news !

Hi Stevej.John reader stated at the AGM (9/12/25) that the 5 day pharmacokinetic study started that day , so should have finished 5 to 7 days later dependent on weekend activity.

Good morning Cobalt . That's not strictly true though , as the rns states this;

'A preliminary assessment of the available data indicates that the findings observed during the study were disproportionately present in control-group animals which were not treated with SDC-1801, and based on the information available, are therefore considered highly unlikely to be related to SDC-1801. Sareum is reviewing the study data with the contractor and expert consultants to determine the cause of the findings and the appropriate next steps.'

I read that as suggesting that there was a greater problem with the control group but still affected the group getting 1801 though to a lesser extent.

We definitely need clarity here and fast !!

Damion , I presume these animals are monitored daily for toxicological biomarkers . To have pulled the plug at such a late stage suggests to me that there was no problem until that late stage ? maybe the vehicle batch or the equipment (Refrigeration storage ?) went faulty and caused the problem .

In the absence of any definite date for commencement of dosing I think I can narrow it down somewhat .

RNS 29/5 mentioned initiation of Toxicology study ( suitably vague ), then after trying to communicate with Stephen Parker via email on several occasions , unsuccessfully , he eventually ' found ' the IR@sareum email posts and sent me a reply . In this he stated that ;

Dear John,

I have only just accessed the IR folder and have come across your emails. I imagine that the announcement of the commentcement of the tox study has answered your question?!

i received this response on 14/6 , where' initiation' has now changed to ' commencement' . So it really started sometime between 29th may and 14th June . Can we assume this is a 24/7 operation ? I would think so . Therefore ,if you take 14th June at the latest . That's my thinking .

There's something about the wording in the RNS that gives me a glimmer of hope .

'Dr Stephen Parker, Executive Chairman of Sareum, said: "While the need to terminate this study is frustrating, the preliminary data strongly suggest that the findings are unlikely to be associated with SDC-1801. Dosing has been terminated out of concern for animal welfare, and we are working closely with our partners and experts to understand the cause and identify a new provider with the aim of restarting the study as quickly as possible with our existing cash resources."

It's the phrase 'restarting the study '. Restarting could mean starting again after interruption from where you left off ?

Also this ;

'The Company is also in discussions with alternative providers with the aim of restarting the study as soon as possible. Despite this set back, the Company anticipates being able to complete the full toxicology study, as originally scoped, with its existing cash resources.'

'complete the full toxicology study', does this mean finish it from a certain point to completion . Any thoughts or am I clutching at straws ? Would be nice to know we could pick up half way through !

There is no doubt in my mind that this latest edison presentation has had a detrimental effect on the sp . It kicks the can down the road and the mere mention of 2026 has got people jittery . I don't think Stephen Parker expected this reaction and he's probably wishing in hindsight that he'd waited before doing this until after the 23rd or even not at all !
