RE: My tuppence (by Christmas) worth13 Oct 2020 22:35
Don't worry Ned, things can turn around very quickly when investing, I'm £62,000 down over the last 7 years of investing (which does make me sound like a terrible investor, I was about to add a but and give reasons other than me just not being a very good investor but there arnt really that many mitigating reasons, obviously Sirius lost me £44,000 and the rest I've managed to keep picking stocks, selling too early or at a loss and just generally made a balls up of everything, no excuses though, all my own decisions so nobody else to blame at the end of the day but myself) but I'm confident that I will recoup that here and much much more if patient, basically have just vowed to hold here until my 30p top slice target is hit or it isn't hit, at least I know lack of patience won't be my downfall here.
Could this one go wrong? of course it could, any investment can but if this one goes right then it will really really go right I think so predicated on that premise I'm holding on to my 3.4 million shares to see if for once my sell target price is actually hit!
