RE: Am I missing something?22 Nov 2020 20:52
"JR outside of SXX, what’s the longest you have held a share? How many other shares do you currently hold in your portfolio?"
I held EUA for about the same length of time I've been holding here, currently have a small holding in AVCT but 90 % of my PF is SYME. I defiantly won't be selling here if bad news hits purely because I'm would be so underwater then that I would rather hold on and hope the sp recovered in time.
"I don’t mean to bash you, but people new to investing will read your posts and some will be drawn into investing on the back of fanciful numbers. It’s irresponsible and as you have openly stated in your years of investing you are currently materially down."
I am indeed well down currently. Hoping for a change of fortune here though.
"I like the optimism and positivity, just stop the baseless share price predictions. Saying on a o.3p that your first top slice is going to be 30p (100x current SP) just underlines why you are down so much in your investing career."
I may be naïve, deluded (or both!) but I genuinely feel that in time the sp could possibly at least break 20p, with regards to the sp, nobody really can say how big or small the sp could grow to here or how quickly as it depends on how the company progresses.
"This share has huge potential for patient investors willing to weather the inevitable tough times ahead. Become a valued contributor to the board, not the guy who just posts numbers plucked out of the air and who let’s everyone know where the share price finished for the day."
I feel I do actually bring more to this BB than what you describe, once again though I accept that I may be delusional in thinking that, I believe I have been known to dig up the odd helpful article now and then and shared them on here but as I always say, you are entitled to your opinion/view.
Thank you for your, what I would call, and have taken as, "principled critique" as I sense that it came from a good and helpful place, you have given me food for thought at least, introspection is never a bad thing if it helps someone improve in a any area.
