DYOR (and not investment advice), but EV/EBIT, EV/Sales and p/e all look attractive to me - relative to AIE, GHT or Nasdaq stocks

target price (for what any of them is worth)? current share price > US$2.14

Barely breakeven and with well known global economic challenges all around. Why 2*book?

Strange market (?over-)reaction to IMS. EV/Sales or EBIT or p/e make SDL look decent value, esp compared to NASDAQ stocks (yes, we have heard that one before..) DYOR, but shouldn't a solid citizen like SDL be given the benefit of the doubt.

Good to have someone with whom to discuss this intriguing share. Development costs for clean energy projects and the on-going carbon op costs are key, as you say. Projects can take a long time to go nowhere. Value has drained out of CERs, and does not look like returning (at least not soon). I did not know about their IP -is it all clear in an annual report? Also, cheekily, do you mind indicating whether you are experienced in the carbon space? It's v small and it would clearly be greatly added value if you were!

Hope your experience has not been gained while a long term holder of these shares. I am a latecomer, here for ride and, so far, a happy punter. I look at GEMD and the per carat value that they generate, and I do like the possible bluesky value. Who knows, of course? Time will tell. [and further cliches and platitudes to taste]

Is there any good news coming fast enough? Selling at 8p after 50%+ profit looks like right call after all.....

DYOR (and clearly not investment advice) but here is my take on this: the discount rates are real, not nominal (though cannot see that immediately in press release) - so suggested 15% real discount or WACC looks too high to me. Even if cannot secure any project finance upfront (ie all risk capital for construction), surely the operational plant could be refinanced with substantial leverage. No idea about GK diamond project. Maybe bluesky appraisal rather than DFS
