Management doesn't own a majority in an MBO

an MBO is typically a spin off of a business run by that management team from an existing (usually quoted) company

Buying a quoted company isn't an MBO

Other (better imv) quoted plays in this space trade at hefty discounts to their NAV, reflecting (quite sensibly) a truly terrible exit market for their investments ie their NAV is more mark to make believe than market
