Think CK acts like a poiltician, say one thing on twitter and do opposite on RNS. Same things with director/staff sells pump and deflate. Trust is an issue here. Why doesn't he do an update on the costs of all the so called hiring off staff, factory revamp costs etc vs acutal income now..why the big talk on twitter? And opposite actual action on official news. So much cloak and dagger.

People harking on about £374m need to bear in mind £50m and the range inbetween! We are at present 'grunts' manufacturing only. TT from mologic and approval thereof may mean we get a larger portion...until then we'll get the bits others cannot produce imo. Hence mooted sp action. Will also be impacted by back to back deals with other parties and the lions share. Mologic are not a gift horse either. Ontop we have a negative CEO.

Hani1, simply because ODX will manufacture tests govt selects hence, those that have or are on verge of valid tests will go up. They have the science and IP which is more valuable. So if gov decides a particular test. The bulk of the revenue goes in IP direction. The £50m-£374m reflects this aspect based on ability of those with IP to produce..and then shortfall gets distributed imo.

Yes, but the spilt is variable and likely based on ability to produce. Thats why CK has said we may not get full wack 374m. Shortalls nay get picked up by others. The overarching contract is for multiple companies. The split award by CK own words cannot be used as guaranteed..

Starbright- it's all preliminary and hence others may get more or less. By the same token odx may get more. However, governmental stuff is mostly overarching and changeable. Likely to have overlap. Looks like maybe CK was right to release the RNS in that manner (albeit I disagree) , because of the posts here. If it was set in stone..CK would not have had felt it necessary to word the RNS as it has. The whole government approach is fluid and flexible. That's the problem..

The Company notes that under UK Government Public Sector contract disclosure rules this number necessarily represents a maximum of the potential value of the contract and care should be taken not to use this number as an estimate or forecast of the actual likely value of purchase orders to be received by the Company for the production of COVID-19 lateral flow antigen tests.

If you then go back to the master contract anouncement it has multiple companies invloved, hence above careful wording by CK. Likewise due to uncertainty of the govt test selection, CK previously advised that we will prodcue any tests the govt selects.

Odx has clearly stated not to use the numbers as being solely applicable to ODX. The main contracts has multiple companies involved. Hence CK wording. Cant believe no one believes in a free market, especially CK!

Lets see market reaction to this..govt news was great but not what odx has.

No Regulator, too simplistic an answer!! Clearly beed stated by CK, we will manufacturer any tests..the government selects. So not quite ODX specific..

There are a few other companies to which would also be relevant and not Just ODX. ODX is not the sole company on this field. The market clearly knows that hence sp been sitting under £1. Market does not need dicator.

Disagree Regulator, as it was not specific to any company. CK had no cause to RNS period.

Would have been better to not do an rns and let the sp run on the info we have. Market would have adjusted to appropriate supply and demand. Does not intervention by YOU CK!!!! ODX HAD NO CAUSE FOR THIS RNS. MUM WAS THE BEST OPTION. As it it was governmental info, no specific to any Company. So why the heck did you do this CK!!

Unbelievable RNS.. massive potential but CK strikes again. Tell him not to write any RNS' in the future!! So annoying.

Thanks all for the replies, Kutzz/MRP, yes it was about definingn anamoly but in part also to uncover mineralisation at the same time..hence we did have reported grades, just not great ones and yet mineralisation intervals not provided hence still perplexed at what was actually done. The RNS is very vague there. Diamond core will target depth which I suppose is the next plan. However there is lack of transparency which is disconcerting.. Cameroon looks promising prima facie, however Fare was also supposed to be the bees knees. No getting away from the fact that the senala update was known and then they did this cameroon thing and host of tweets and threw the boomerang at us. Just should have led from the front and and head on with the issues and more official details on options etc. No more on this matter. But we all base our investments on trust. No choice but to hang around and hope better things come.

Yup Leathal, not good to be an unhappy bunny before Easter!! We all can accept the grades etc. If work was done diligently- doubts there; Reporting was complete- lack of transparency here on numerous fronts i.e grades at what intervals, how far apart were the tests compared to previous intervals. What did BoD know and when and what checks done, officially clarifying the real options we have; the cameroon 'stunt' just prior to Senala. You have a major update and you're in Cameroon? Clearly they knew this well in advance, due to Cameroon tweets being ramped up and then ending up there. Coincidence?
We need concrete updates from now on and not just tweets..
