Agree GGG, equally will represent a good top up opp if it's a miss. Will personally have a fair bit of dry powder at the ready :)) but if production targets are ahead, that should compensate for the lower margins. Am personally thinking this maybe the case.

Info on website and linked in, whilst good needs to be backed up/ reinforced in proactive interviews etc. Also, can the pi who keeps lobbing 50k share sell grenades daily, get on and clear out ASAP ;))))))

Nice one Stas. Think more frequent updates on spuds and impact on boepd might may help too. Will underline "growth". Cloak and dagger not working. Sp is in a tail spin. Once the dud drill news was out, PR should have been ramped up significantly with details of the capital programme in Canada and a nice overall summary on the total wells drilled and spudded during the capital prog and production. Some may argue that info is there in the updates (imo in a limired way) but it gets lost in the mist. Upto BoD to take some action here.

Bang on Tony. But if the decision being discussed by BoD on divi vs buyback. I'm for Divis. However if a strong opp arises, i'll take opp against both of the former. Main things to note is that we are at the infancy stage of our canadian assets. Market is pricing that together with the unknowns of whatever else we have. So we are being marked down imo at present. Which if you hold a long term view, the sp is very good value. Just saw on bloomberg, $100 op expected..

Give me a divi all day long. As long as production targets are met and the capital progs works its way through, we'll defo get increased production and cash build up. The sp disconnect is only short term and alsi reflects that this is not yet a company that has matured into the Canadian assets. It'a still at an early stage and the market will adjust value when I3E demonstrates continuous growth and stability. This is gonna be a slow burner. I would prefer management retain cash for potential targets and not embark on buybacks at this juncture. The double whammy in the NS has dented confidence in managment and the sp has been jolted. Hope Majid learns from this and going into bed with minnows. Let's move on from this.

I hear you barnyards, however there would be very few on most BBs with that knowledge. However you look at it 2 x ditto drills are not good.

Ever since the deal with EOG was announced the sp has been decline bar a jump in between relating to production numbers and poo climb. As I said at the time, didn't like it and still dont. Sapped confidence in the company. Very poor in this regard. At the penalty spot went oustide the post!

That' what happens if you get into beds with minnows. The bigger boys would not have allowed this to happen.

Btw, am also of the view that increased divis will increase the sp to some degree but not as muchs as we maybe think before getting dragged back due to the general market malaise and edginess around oil atm. However at least we'll have decent dividend income growth.

GGG thanks for the reply. I agree with most of what you said. I still think though as the production numbers push up which, I think they will, it will rebalance the sp inequity. One of the other things which would have jumped the sp in 'normal' market conditions would have been director buys and that hasn't worked either. The market is more irrational and abnormal at the moment. Which is why, I 100% agree on increasing divis and not sharebuy back because everyone is after income growth atm. There are a lot of stocks getting hammered out of fear. Management cannot be responsible to some extent. We are not in a normal economic market.

Wild swings galore. Need a few sessions to settle down and eventually start a climb. Meantime am building a stake and holding tight. This can be a gem.
