RE: Spot Heid_Oil1 Mar 2023 08:57
following that b&q link below i realised that buy backs are arranged from somewhere else, so i thought i would explore significant shareholdings. interestingly i took a snap shot from ujo web yesterday (when treasury was still quoted at 1150000 (which would be 11jan), today it shows at 2025000 (28feb) with confusingly dramatically different significant holdings. IF both sets of figures are correct then the amount of shares held by those broker outfits has dramatically increased with HL climbing to 20.55%. IIS to 19.05, halifax to 13.63. AJ Bell have appeared with 8%, but i suspect that was what was one of the repeated IIS entries previously. The one that sticks out to me is Barclays which hardly seems to have increased!! The total % held now shows 69.61% where as it was 40.03% on 11 jan. so with 32,396,443 more shares held in those broker accounts, how come the sp hasn’t moved. Good news though id have thought. not sure i’ve seen 32M shares bought go through the trading since jan11 ?!
